We’ve had some new additions outside the site!

Working alongside the local council, we’ve had two benches installed at the bus stops right outside our entrance. Now, anyone waiting for the bus has a comfortable place to sit.

A huge thank you to one of our lodge owners for helping us to install them, we truly appreciate the help!

Help us find Charity her forever home!

At Oakmere Country Park, we adore our four legged family members and believe every dog deserves a warm, loving home. Today, we want to shine a light on a very special girl currently waiting at Dogs Trust Merseyside, meet Charity!

Charity is a sweet crossbreed, between 5 and 7 years old, who has overcome a lot after being rescued from Romania. Once she gets to know and trust you, she is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than going for peaceful walks and leaning into your legs for gentle cuddles.

She is searching for a quiet, peaceful adult only home with no other pets and limited visitors, ideally set away from busy roads where she can relax at her own pace. Charity will need a patient owner willing to make a few visits to Dogs Trust Merseyside to build a bond before heading home, and while she manages hip dysplasia with daily pain relief, she still thoroughly enjoys her strolls and focused training!

Can you help us spread the word? Even a quick share of this post could reach the right family and change Charity's life forever.

Read Charity's full story and apply to adopt her on the Dogs Trust website:

We are excited to reveal that the Pemberton Marlow Centre Lounge is heading to Oakmere Country Park very soon, it is going to be situated on a sought after plot overlooking the lake.

Designed around a unique central living space, this layout brings everyone together in a bright, welcoming space while keeping the bedrooms thoughtfully positioned at opposite ends for maximum privacy.

Inside, the vaulted mono-pitch ceiling enhances the open, roomy feel of the lounge. Relax on the generous L-shaped sofa, which includes a pull out bed for extra guests. Settle in by the flame effect fire, or unwind with your feet on the accent footstool. In the dining area you will find a sleek freestanding table with faux leather seating provides a stylish spot for dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances, generous counter space, and an eye-catching mirrored splashback.

The master bedroom comes complete with a king size bed, dressing table, walk in wardrobe, and its own en-suite bathroom. At the far end of the lodge, the second bedroom serves as a comfortable retreat for guests, featuring twin beds and built in storage.

Set in the peaceful grounds of Oakmere Country Park, this lodge offers an ideal rural escape right alongside our wildlife lake. Picture starting your morning with a hot drink on the veranda while taking in the sights of the ducks gliding across the lake.
