I know I've said this before, but I'm honestly blown away to get reviews like this. 😊😊

I cannot praise Jon highly enough as a driving instructor. He doesn’t just teach how to pass the test but teaches how to be a safe driver for life. He has taught both my children now and they are both safe confident drivers. Jon takes his students far and wide on their driving lessons enabling them to gain experience on all road types and conditions. Jon also engages brilliantly with young people. My daughter was initially very anxious and shy but from the very first lesson enjoyed her lessons and talking to Jon. I would recommend Jon every time. You cannot make a better choice.

Another lovely review, honestly I'm still humbled to get such feedback regarding the driving lessons I provide.

I’d highly recommend Jon as a driving instructor. What really stood out for us was that his focus wasn’t simply on getting Murray through his driving test, but on teaching him to become a genuinely safe and confident driver.

Jon was always honest about Murray’s progress and never recommended extra lessons when he didn’t feel they were needed, which we really appreciated.

Most importantly, Murray has developed into a safe and sensible driver who I genuinely trust out on the road. As a parent, I don’t think you can ask for much more from a driving instructor.

📢 Important update for local learner drivers! 🚗💨

Starting 1 October, the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA is changing the rules on how you can swap driving test dates with another candidate to make the process easier and less stressful.

Here is what you need to know:

✅ No need to call at the same time: You no longer need to be on the phone to the DVSA at the exact same moment as the person you're swapping with.

📞 First call: The first learner calls the DVSA to request the swap.

📞 Second call: The second learner calls the DVSA on the same working day to confirm it.

As long as both calls are made on the same working day, the DVSA will process the swap.

Yes, the Hyundai is back from repairs, looking all shiny and new, without a dent, scratches or a smashed windscreen. 🥳

Lessons will resume in the Hyundai i20 from Friday, and thankfully the Peugeot 208 will be going back (sorry Peugeot).

🚗💨 Back on the Road and Ready for Lessons! 💨🚗

​Hey everyone! I wanted to provide a quick update to let you know that I'm back on the road, offering manual driving lessons. My regular car is currently in the garage for a bit, so for the time being, lessons will be taking place in this blue Peugeot 208 courtesy car!

Jon is the best driving instructor I could ever ask for- I would recommend him to anybody, especially people who may feel nervous to drive.

He reflects on all of the progress I make throughout the lesson and personalises the lesson to suit the driver and the skills they want to focus on. Plus his app helps me to reflect on my strengths, and where and how I can improve.

His organisation is also fantastic, the lessons are clear and straightforward. He’s so kind and always remains calm which was great for me as I was very nervous to start driving, however now I am confident and couldn’t have done it without him. I couldn’t recommend him enough!
