We run our own network of workshops across the UK, as well as on

A partnership going strong for 22 years and counting 💫

We have signed a new contract with Northamptonshire Partnership Homes Connect to replace and maintain its 70-vehicle fleet taking our partnership to 2031 (over 27 years!).

Lee Burdett, Operations Manager, NPH - pictured with some of the new vehicles - commented:

“SFS understand our business requirements and our delivery model, and that stood out in their submission. Unlike other providers they have complete awareness of the importance of carrying out all servicing and maintenance out of hours. We are delighted to announce our volunteering partnership with The Lewis Foundation, a charity that brings comfort and support to adult cancer patients by sourcing, packaging and hand-delivering free gift packs.

This marks the start of a longer-term relationship focused on practical support. Our colleagues will be able to contribute their time, skills and expertise in ways to help the charity reach more people.

We are celebrating a very successful first year working with Epping Forest District Council and its Teckal company Terra Verde Services (TVS), helping to deliver their new in-house waste and recycling service 🎊

🔹 The replacement fleet was in place ahead of the start date
🔹 The new service went live on time & performance has been excellent
🔹 There have been no disruptions due to vehicles being off-road
🔹 A dedicated food waste service was launched by the government deadline
🔹 The permanent environmental operations hub is now fully operational

Pasta la Vista Baby, Scrappy Doo, Peels on Wheels, Toast Busters and 'friends' have arrived at HHinckley & Bosworth Borough Council🎊

The vehicles belong to a new fleet of 9 dedicated food waste collection vehicles that we have supplied to the council to carry out its new weekly food waste recycling service, which started this week ♻️

Each truck features its own name, thanks to a council-run competition that invited residents to suggest names for the new fleet.

Caroline Roffey, Assistant Director, Street Scene Services, HBBC: "I would like to thank everyone at Specialist Fleet Services for their work providing us with these food waste collection vehicles. These vehicles are now out and about on roads across the borough, with the winning names from our vehicle naming competition proudly printed on them."

Great teamwork! Thank you everyone at CTS Hire.

Having our own vehicle rental division is a huge plus for our customers, for example when they need to fill any gaps between vehicle replacement tenders.

And we are committed to continually investing in our rental fleet so that our customers can benefit from the latest vehicle technology.

Happy National Apprenticeship Week 2026 🎊

We’re incredibly proud of our apprentices, not just for the technical skills & knowledge they gain, but for the life skills they build along the way.

Connor joined our Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council depot in 2019 as a 16 yr old apprentice after leaving school. Now 22 yrs old he is celebrating 7 years with us and his fourth year as a fully qualified HGV Technician:

"I love coming to work every day. It’s very rewarding. I like being able to see what I’ve done and to know I’ve made a difference.”

Ricky, our Workshop Controller is also delighted with Connor’s progress:

“We’re so lucky to have him. He takes everything in his stride and has a very mature head on his shoulders.”

Since qualifying from his apprenticeship Connor has become IRTEC accredited and has undertaken chassis and body training with Dennis Eagle Ltd. He is due to carry out training on electric vehicles in the near future.

Congratulations to Connor and our other apprentices for their hard work, dedication and achievements 👏
