⚡ Peugeot e-2008 in the workshop with charging issues. 🔌

After carrying out a full diagnostic assessment, we traced the fault to a failed On-Board Charger (OBC). Unfortunately, this is a known weak point on some variants of the Peugeot e-2008.

A new On-Board Charger was fitted and programmed to the vehicle, restoring normal charging operation and getting the vehicle back on the road. ✅

🔧 Peugeot Expert in the workshop displaying a 'Tow Bar Malfunction' warning on the dashboard.

Using the vehicle's topology, we quickly identified that the trailer relay module was offline. ❌

Electrical testing at the module confirmed that all wiring and power supplies were correct. A closer inspection then revealed the cause of the fault – the trailer relay module had suffered water ingress, resulting in internal damage.

A new trailer relay module was fitted, restoring full operation of the tow bar system and clearing the fault. ✅

🔧 Peugeot Expert in the workshop with an intermittent non-start fault and multiple warning lights.

Our initial assessment showed the vehicle was reporting faults on the CAN-Bus network. During testing, we confirmed that whenever the fault occurred, communication with the engine control unit (ECU) was being lost.

Through accurate testing and electrical measurements, we traced the fault to a loose terminal on the CAN Low circuit.

A new terminal was fitted, restoring reliable communication and resolving the issue with minimal downtime for this working vehicle. ✅

DS3 Crossback in the workshop with a faulty retractable door handle.

The customer had already replaced the handle, but unfortunately the fault remained. 😫

Using accurate testing and a methodical diagnostic approach, we were able to confirm that both door handles were actually faulty and had failed in exactly the same way – an uncommon but entirely possible situation.

A new genuine DS door handle was fitted, restoring full operation and resolving the issue.

Around 80% of the vehicles we see for air conditioning regasses unfortunately have a leak 💨

That's why we pressure test every air conditioning system before carrying out a regas. This helps ensure our customers aren't wasting money on refrigerant gas that will simply leak back out again.

If there's a leak, we'll identify the issue first and advise on the best course of action before any regas is carried out. ✅

Citroën Berlingo in the workshop with AdBlue woes 😫

This vehicle arrived with faults indicating a loss of communication with the AdBlue system.

Using accurate diagnostic testing, we traced the issue to poor terminal tension within a connector plug — a small fault that can cause big headaches.

After carefully tightening the terminal tension, the communication fault was restored and the issue resolved.

The importance of proper testing and diagnosis — not just following fault codes.

This Peugeot 2008 came to us with all the brake warning lights illuminated, with a fault code pointing to a rear ABS sensor.

The customer had already replaced the ABS sensor, but unfortunately the fault remained. ❌

After carrying out diagnostic assessment, we traced the issue to corrosion within the wiring harness and proved this to be the root cause.

The wiring was repaired, rectifying the fault and getting the vehicle back on the road, without replacing any unnecessary parts. ✅
