Reluctant sale!! Don’t ask me for best price it’s £700!! Cheap old bus at that

Outlander commercial van for sale

2011 (ex environment agency)

Needs 2x aux belts 1 for coolant pump and other for the rest of the ancillary’s, it’s decided to shred these tonight and for me this is the final straw I’m too busy to have my van off the road so it has to go to make way for the new one

We’re selling our roof bars from our 2011 Mitsubishi outlander if any customers have an outlander 2006/2012 then these will fit

Genuine Mitsubishi factory fitted roof bars will be removed this week includes all brackets and they are lockable, removing as I’m fitting the stock silver roof rails instead

£120 for the pair will deliver for extra cost

2011 Golf service from the other day

We’ve looked after this car for over a year now having originally pulled it back to life after two years parked on grass and there’s not much this car hasn’t had, it’s had the following and this shows the customers love for the car 👌😅

4 injectors
2 rear springs
Rear calipers x2
Discs and pads all round
Dpf issues sorted
2x services
4x tyres
A few mice chewed bits replaced
A few bulbs here and there
1x front shock absorber
2x front springs
1x lower arm
And a few bits I’ve forgotten about all that was last year minus one service and bottom arm this year!!

The cars a real credit to its owner who is one of the best customers I’ve had the pleasure in working for, he’s spent a fair bit on this car the last year and I hope to only need to see it for routine maintenance this year, it’s refreshing seeing a repeat customers car back for a service after spending so much on it, and we truely appreciate the repeat business!

The almighty famous smax in again!! Tho we’ve not seen her for a while this time she’s in for a suspected head-gasket failure after a coolant pipe failure while driving, tomorrow we’re going to try get this bled up as coolants not in the full system currently, and it’s only showing one very minor sign of a headgasket failure, we will do more testing on this one tomorrow after bleeding the system back up, personally I’m thinking it’s air locked but maybe I’m just more preying it’s air locked 😅 will I be correct?

And a Nissan for its mot failures Booked in for a few weeks time 👌

We’re back up and running fully functional again

Taking bookings for next week as this week is full!

If any spaces become available I shall let you know

We’re also looking into buying a second outlander van for when this one is down or vise versa we’re still able to operate and not annoy anyone with missed appointments

This is my most crucial tool so it’s upkeep is foremost the most important priority

Cheers to all the lads that have helped the last week for your assistance with the old girl and her old age problems 😅 we all reach that stage eventually 😂 she refuses to die tho she’s a good fighter and I love her to bits

Told her if she behaves and is good this next week we might treat her to a bit more loving and maintenance 😅😂👌 should never promise a woman that they hold that kind of thing against you lol 😂

My pain in the arse outlander will be fixed hopefully by tomorrow so we’re taking bookings for Wednesday, Thursday and having Friday off but open Saturday, apologies for the inconvenience and missed appointments however nothing I could do one of those things in life, and the vans been away getting the exhaust fixed etc (which required welding of which I don’t and never have offered)

Busy today sorting out the van if anyone needs anything quotes etc let me know and I’ll sort it for you

Please be patient as we’re still having coolant issues on our outlander which has to take priority at the moment

Yesterday and today is one of them things we can’t help if we break down and can’t make your appointment so please bear with us as we’re trying to get this resolved today

Update 13:10

The outlander has snapped one of the two auxiliary belts unfortunately this drives the coolant pump and I can’t get one until next week I appologise for the inconvenience we shall not be able to attend bookings today and I will get a message across the board to everyone that is booked in for repairs, thanks everyone and I do apologise 🤦‍♂️

1 customer today decided me having a broken down van wasn’t a good enough excuse to not be attending the repairs due to their vehicle in the time frame I said 🤷‍♂️ I even said I’d let them know when I was on my way and could’ve gone tonight and sorted it no problem and that I’m clearly not qualified for brake pipes and me having a broken van myself and no way to get to them they decided to rant about it via text over a period of hours while sorting my van out with one of its issues, in a way I’m glad I ain’t interested as soon as someone becomes a nightmare to deal with or a headache I will pack tools and go home or not show at all simply not interested in getting grief over an issue that’s not helped when there’s loads of other polite people that don’t hide behind a screen, got an issue talk to me face to face and we will sort it soon as I get a text with demands etc like today it’ll be bye bye and block contact

FYI it might amaze some people but our vehicles have breakdowns and problems too ours ain’t run on magic fairy dust my vans on the road every day we’ve done 5000 miles in a month so the one or two issues it’s had have been nothing more then wear and tear part of the job sorry if you don’t like it I don’t have the time to care 🤷‍♂️

Also yes i would rather be earning money but I have to look after my most valuable tool and that’s my van if your booking has to be moved then that’s what it’ll be my van comes number 1 priority over anything when it’s earning me the money

Also please bear with me as I suspect my Waterpump has failed so I won’t be able to attend some appointments but hoping to have an answer tomorrow on what my coolant issue is

If your booking is going to be affected I will alert you and re book as soon as I know more, could be a 5 min fix or could be a day job I just don’t know at this time perks of cars that have done nearly 200,000 miles

Anyways moving on from rant street, the outlanders exhaust is fixed which is the issue we were busy sorting out today and the wheel bearing which was collapsed

Tomorrow will be its coolant issue (suspected pump failure)

Then back to work again

I appologise for any inconvenience caused however it’s one of them, nothing I can do apart from get it sorted
