Quickshift Motorcycles is changing !

After a great deal of thought, I've decided to make some changes to the way Quickshift Motorcycles operates.

Due to changes in my personal life and an exciting new chapter ahead for myself, the workshop will continue to operate, but on a more flexible, appointment-only basis. Bookings will now be taken in dedicated blocks, allowing me to continue providing the high standard of service my customers expect while creating a better work-life balance.

As part of this change, the workshop phone line will be closing. All enquiries and bookings should now be made via Email or Facebook Messenger. Please also note that the workshop will not be open every week, as I will be operating on a part-time basis.

I want to sincerely thank every customer who has supported Quickshift Motorcycles over the years. Your trust, loyalty and recommendations have helped make this business a success, and I truly appreciate every one of you.

This isn't the end of Quickshift Motorcycles but just the beginning of a new way of operating. I look forward to continuing to look after your motorcycles for years to come.

Isle of man TT is back !!

The roads are louder, the racing’s faster, and the Isle of Man TT 2026 is finally here. 🏍️💨

Quickshift Motorcycles will re-open on June 8th.

Until then, Ride safe, stay upright, and enjoy the madness of TT race week from your sofa on TT+ or on the bank of you are attending.

🔥 The Fireblade 929 🔥

In for its annual service… but this one is looking for a new owner.

Only 13k miles, near-perfect condition, and still carrying that raw Honda DNA that made the fireblade legendary.

27 years on and it still delivers the kind of ride that puts a proper grin on your face.

🏍️ Bike of the Week 🏍️

Honda TLR 200 has been through the workshop and ready for a trials weekend. Service done, fresh fork oil, new clutch fitted, and a new carburettor installed. Properly sorted and ready to work.

Quick history:
The Honda TLR200 landed in the early 1980s as a lightweight, four-stroke trials bike, evolving from the TL125 and drawing from the tough XR200 engine platform. Built around 1983, it was aimed at riders who wanted reliability and control over outright competition performance. With its torquey 195cc air-cooled single, low seat height, and trials-focused geometry, it handled technical terrain with ease while staying approachable. It never ruled top-level competition, but earned a reputation for durability and versatility — now a true cult classic in the trials world.
