A well established business situated 2 minutes from The Cobalt and Silverlink Parks in North Shields. We offer quality car bodyshop services to business and private customers alike. sts are all fully time served having worked in the industry for many years. We are agents for PPG paints the largest coatings company in the world. We mix our colours in-house using environmentally friendly water based paints. We have all the latest equipment including a digital spectrometer and a computerised colour mixing station. Our workshop features a large downdraught spray booth usually only found in main dealer facilities. This speeds up the drying times so we can turn jobs around faster. We repair all makes of cars old and new. Light scratches and dents up to medium crash damage. We don't however work on more serious crash damage. We can do full resprays and have a large portfolio of past work. We are a Winns Approved repairer so contact us first in the event of an accident. You'll find a warm welcome here and no nasty surprises when you get the bill. Our rates are comparable to our competitors but our work is second to none.

Winter project complete ✔️

Every Christmas when things slow down a little in the workshop, I like to take on a project car. This year’s choice was this fantastic 1993 BMW 850i.

Although the car looked great on the surface, once we started digging into it we uncovered a few areas that needed some attention. Corrosion under the bonnet lip being the worst part.

After a month of careful work, the car is now finished and back on my drive looking better than ever.

The bumpers, bonnet, wings and roof have all been refinished in Emerald Green, bringing the car back to life and ready for the 2026 car show season.
What a head turner.

Perfect timing too — the workshop diary is starting to fill up again for the year ahead.

Some of these Audis are so expensive to fix. This one had a very minor collision at around 5 mph. Damaging the front corner. Insurance wrote it off. When you consider a new headlight , wing, bumper bonnet and trims come in at whopping £12000. Luckily everything was repairable and we in the process of making it Smooth as Glass smooth as glass.

New installation of the brand new PPG LinQ Colour paint matching system. Absolute state of the art in the industry. We are one of the first bodyshops in the country to get this equipment. As such we are working with PPG to fix teething problems which has taken some time. The aim.of this equipment is to minimise additional work caused by the need to blend panels. Most bodyshops will do blends as a matter of course even when not necessary. So if you've been quoted for a blend we can do the job without the need for that. Watch the video to find out more.
