Happy Birthday Rubber Duck Cars Ltd!

When I started the business in 2020, I had a well-paid job. I didn't have investors or a grand plan. I just wanted to give my own business a shot, and thankfully I had a very supportive wife!

I thought I could buy cars from the public with the money I'd saved after more than 15 years working for franchised dealerships and sell them on to the trade.

Six years later, we've got two sites, a team of 30, around 200 cars in stock, and we're selling more cars with each passing month.

It was on this day, 1st June 2020, that Rubber Duck Cars Ltd was registered at Companies House.

Thank you to every customer, supplier, lender, friend, family member and every one of our incredible team who have helped us get this far.

The first six years have gone ridiculously quickly. There's been a lot of change, a lot of mistakes, far too much stress, but also plenty of fun.

Let's see what the next six years bring!
