Proud to support RNLI North Berwick Lifeboat

Our historic boathouse has been lit up this week in celebration of 200 years of life saving by the RNLI.

Since 1824 volunteers with the RNLI have saved 146,277 lives around our coasts.

Volunteers here in North Berwick have saved 201 lives since 1860. We're proud of our crowd and to be part of the RNLI family.

Thank you to Howard Selby Auto Services for covering the cost of the lighting.

There's an excellent feature on the RNLI in East Lothian in this week's East Lothian Courier, with a wealth of historical photos of ourselves and RNLI Dunbar Lifeboats.

During a routine check recently our station Mechanic, John, noticed one of the trailer tyre valves had failed. That might not sound like a big deal but it could have compromised the safe launching of the lifeboat. As a lifesaving service we've got to be ready at a moment's notice

Thankfully we have some fantastic local supporters and Howard Selby Auto Services got the tyre fixed in double time and back on the trailer, free of charge! Thanks team.

State Funeral Queen Elizabeth II – Monday 19th September 2022.

On Monday 19th September, Howard Selby Auto Services will be closed as a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her family.

Full service will resume, as normal, on Tuesday 20th September 2022.

We join the country and commonwealth in a day of mourning and the celebration of our Queen’s reign.

1x Fully qualify qualified vehicle technician full time position.
1x MOT tester full time or part time.

Both positions must be capable of working to high standards on private cars and light commercial vehicles.
