We are a local, family run, independent garage just outside North Berwick. GR Autocare all began in 2013.

We carry out all aspects of servicing, repairs and upgrades to all makes and models of car, light commercial and 4 wheel drive vehicles at competitive prices. Two garage moves later we are in our current premises on the main road between Fenton Barns and Drem just outside North Berwick. We carryout all aspects of servicing and repairs to all makes and models of car, 4x4 and light commercial vehicles. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Selling on behalf of an friend who brought this over from Australia in July 2016 (all import and UK registration paperwork present).

We have looked after this car for a few years and have just carried out a full service and put a year's MOT on it.

It's covered 207k kms which is around 129k miles.

It has a few age related marks on the body and and aftermarket rear fog light fitted on the bumper for the UK but it's generally a very clean car and drives great.

We had the Holy Grail Subaru in this week 😀

An absolutely immaculate Subaru Impreza 22B. For those that don't know.....

The Impreza 22B STI is the most famous and highly sought-after rare Impreza. Built to celebrate Subaru’s 40th anniversary and their WRC manufacturer titles, it features an iconic two-door widebody design, a bored-out 2.2L engine, and widened wheel arches.

Just 424 units were made globally (400 for Japan, 24 for export).
Only three "prototype" versions with 000/400 build plates were ever made and gifted directly to rally legends Colin McRae, Nicky Grist, and Prodrive’s David Lapworth.

This one had a small leak from the plastic oil separator plate and it wouldn't select reverse. Massive Kudos to Goldie on this one for his meticulous care and rectifying the gearbox fault in house 💪

That time of year again folks 😀

🥵☀️🥵 How is your air conditioning?❄❄❄

A car air conditioning system will lose approximately 10% of its refrigerant every year, on average. Recharging the air con means replacing this lost refrigerant. It's sometimes known as an air con 'regas'.

In most cases, manufacturers recommend you service your vehicle air conditioning every two years.

An air con service includes:

Thorough checks for leaks, performance and temperature.

Evacuation of moisture and air from the system, plus refrigerant recovery.

Air con refrigerant recharge to manufacturers' recommended levels.

Replenishment of system oil.

If your system needs anything repaired, such as leaks and failed components, these are not included in the cost of a service and we would need to fix these separately for you.

We can service R134a (old gas) and 1234yf (new gas) 👍

***Business Update***

I feel like we haven't done a business update in ages so here goes 😄

Last year our booking lead times were a bit frustrating for customers as sometimes we were heading for a month to 6 weeks for planned work like servicing and MOT's due to to continual staffing issues 🤦‍♂️

However...... 😄 This year things are a lot better!

We now have a 7 strong experienced workshop team 5 of which are MOT tester's! It's taken us a while to get this group together but what a team we have 💪
Most importantly that has massively reduced our lead time for bookings for you guy's, with our 5 experienced tester's do not be stuck if you need squeezed in for an MOT test (Class 4 and 7) 👍

We continue to offer the services we always have and strive to keep ourselves current with our specialist tooling and diagnostic equipment along with our latest additions of,

✅️ Software Updates
✅️ Used Car Sales
✅️ We do also buy vehicles at trade value

We have also moved with the times and made our workshop system digital so you will now see a Red/Amber/Green vehicle health check along with your invoice to allow you to easily see any issues with your vehicle and how urgently they need attention.
