Add another to the growing list of major 2026 Optimist regattas won by North Sails

20/02/2026

Great to see Jonny Rogers coming out on top of the 360 boat fleet at Palamós with his North Optimist Sail!

The 36th International Palamós Optimist Trophy was full of tight racing and plenty of action. British sailor Jonny Rogers came out on top, powered by the latest North Optimist sail.

Built to be simple and fast, North optimist sails are easy to trim, and ready to accelerate when you sheet on and go. It’s a great fit for sailors who want a sail that feels forgiving but still has that extra gear when the breeze is on.

Nice work, Jonny. 👏

If you’re looking to get more out of your own Opti, our Optimist Tuning Guide is packed with setup tips and race-day tweaks to help you feel confident on the line. And yes, you can find the full North Opti range at northsails.com here: https://bit.ly/4tRZ0Am.

Who’s heading to their next regatta soon?
