It's been a while but that doesn't mean that nothing has been happening. The workshop has been busy with all the projects and some new arrivals (but more about that later!). The roof still has to be done but below Cantrail level 1286 is looking alot fresher with some of the finishing touches starting to be applied. Original varnish transfers have been applied to really keep in touch with the period livery. Once the roof is done proper period yellow and black chevrons will be applied front and back.

Keep an eye out for more updates on 1286 and if I get around to it, some new fleet updates!

Sometimes the hardest working things get over looked but not this time! Towbus 1286 is one of our several engineering vehicles and is the hardest working of the lot. Part collection, scrap runs and bus recovery it's done it all. Whilst always kept in tip top mechanical condition by the team it's bodywork has always had somewhat of a lived in theme. But has pulled out his finest paint brushes and is transforming its appearance. Keep an eye out for updates on Jeff's excellent paint skills.

Engineering vehicles are often forgotten about. They normally keep a depot ticking over by delivering parts, jump starting flat buses or assist in defective bus recovery. The ABPG have several in the fleet. Uniquely converted 2640 and 1286 bask in the sun at HQ.
