Repairing a hydraulic motor drive setup.
The original bolt is broken off inside the motor shaft and has become as hard as glass to drill.
So we modified the arrangement and machined a wee keeper to hold everything together..

Folding a 12mm overlay plate for a D6 dozer blade for a customer who fitted and welded the job together.

A not so handy a job was removing the middle axle on a three axle positive steered trailer then dropping the steering assembly to replace a worn ball joint socket, which is not available as a part.

Cut out the socket and machine a new socket with a 2.725 degree taper to suit the tie rod. Some craic.

A one off hanger for an ROR suspension.
Made in one piece and built stronger to last longer.

BPW axle that has stretched UBolts causing the spring mounting brackets to eat in the axle beam. Also tearing off the locating lugs welded to the axle.
We cleaned off the damaged areas and welded them back to a level surface, attached heavier locating lugs and assembled the new parts ready to fit the axle and complete an alignment.

SAF axle from a brick carrier with positive steer axles.
Full suspension arm rebuild on this axle.
Customer had it painted ready to be fitted the next day

Repairing a steel tipper body for a customer.
Remove steel body.
Replacing and repairing cross members.
Welding up cracks.
Refit body back onto chassis.

BPW axle with bearing failure.
Stub shaft bent due to the heat and heavily gouged by the hub.

This repair took three days to complete.

Lots of press work, lathe work and finally the big milling machine for slots and cross drilled holes.
