Call out to an Audi Q5 in Ballyclare for diagnostic and repair. The Oil pressure light would appear on the dash after a few minutes of driving. ⚠️

Checking the oil pressure via having the gauge hooked up confirmed the engine did indeed have seriously low oil pressure (0.2 BAR) on idle. This meant it wasn’t a sensor or wiring issue and further investigation was required.🧐

Next step was to get the engine sump removed and check both the pickup filter along with the pump and its internals. Luckily enough we found what we were hoping for and the filter was badly blocked. Some light wear on the pump internals, although nothing excessive.

Work carried out:

✅Oil pump Hex drive replacement.
✅New pick-up filter.
✅Engine oil and filter service.
✅New oil pressure sensor (preventative maintenance).

Diagnostic and repair on this Toyota Land Cruiser with multiple warning lights and a rough running engine.⚠️

✅P2009 Intake runner control- Damaged wiring found and repaired at the intake VSV,(vacuum switching valve).
✅P1605 Rough idling- Mass air flow sensor found to be damaged-replacement part fitted.

Call out to this BMW X5 last week with a major coolant leak. As suspected it was the usual coolant pipe that splits underneath the intake manifold.

Full strip down of the intake required, new pipe and seals fitted, coolant system then re-bled and ran up to temp, leaving this one leak free again for the customer.✅👍

Call out for front brake pads and discs to be replaced, along with all spark plug’s being changed out.⚡️

Whilst working under the bonnet some leaking EVAP pipes were spotted and the customer has been advised to have them replaced at some stage, (temporary repair carried out for now).🚗✅

Call out to this BMW 640D to diagnose and repair a major coolant leak.💦

Was pretty confident of what the cause would be when the customer stated over the phone that the coolant was squirting all around the engine bay.

A coolant pressure test confirmed that the coolant fl**ge pipe had completely split. (An extremely common failure on BMW’s).

Strip down of the intake manifold to get the new part fitted , all built back up and the coolant system re-filled and bled.🌡️✅

Peugeot 208 pure-tech for diagnostic and repair. Multiple warning lights showing on the dash(ABS,ESP, Hill assist etc), along with a ton of faults showing up with a fault scan.

Looking into the ABS live data there was no reading whatsoever coming from the rear left wheel speed sensor. With some testing and digging the issue turned out to be a damaged rear wiring harness, due to water ingress/corrosion.

A new wiring harness supplied and fitted to get all faults cured on this one .✅🚗🔧
