🚐✨ The camper glow-up you’ve been waiting for… ✨🚐

We’ve lowered the main bed and OMG — game changer! 🙌 You can now actually sit up in bed without head-butting the ceiling 😂 Sooo much comfier!

The kitchen has had a little makeover too 👩‍🍳🔥 The worktop has been shortened which means way more space to move around — no more feeling like you’re cooking in a burger van 🍔🚫

We’ve swapped out the sink, taps and gas hobs for a sleek black finish, paired with a sparkly black worktop ✨🖤 It looks amazing!

The side seats have had a full upgrade and now come with lap belts, officially making Dembe a 5-seater camper 🙌🚐

And the best bit… the side seats now turn into a sliding bed 🛏️✨ It’s sooo much easier than the old one — we actually know how to use it properly now 😅😂

Safe to say… we’re OBSESSED 🤍🔥

Dembe is back 🥳🥳. We are made up with the work that’s been done. We are going to get him cleaned up and take some photos to show you all this weekend 🤟🏼

I know, I know!!! I said I’d give more updates and photos but been so busy lately and Dembe has gone to our camper converter wizard for some upgrades. As soon as we have updates and photos we will update you all 🤭

First night = SUCCESS! 🎉
We already spotted a few little tweaks we want to make… but don’t worry, we’ll keep you fully updated with our chaos-to-comfort journey. 😅

Now for the first morning.
CHAOS. COMPLETE CHAOS. 🤯

So, the pub we stayed at was right next to a cute little canal with a lovely bridge… adorable, right? Well, turns out the bridge started collapsing last night AND a water main burst. But us? Oh, we went to bed thinking, “We’ll be fine, we don’t need anything, won’t affect us.”
Famous. Last. Words. 😂

We woke up to the sound of heavy machinery because they were about to dig up the road right outside the pub car park. Suddenly you’ve got the three of us scrambling like contestants on a game show, trying to move the van before we got sealed in forever.

Next thing you know, we’re parked on a random main road outside someone’s house, trying to:
🤙🏼Change the little one
🤙🏼Get ourselves dressed
🤘🏼Shove things away before they launched themselves across the van
🤘🏼And attempt NOT to flash the locals with any unwanted morning surprises

10/10 comedy. Would still recommend the pub as a stop over maybe just not for a few days 😂🫣

Since cooking breakfast was NOT happening, we accepted our fate and rolled on toward the next stop…
with a heroic little detour to Greggs. 🥐✨
Because if in doubt, pastry it out. 😌
