The Nankang Tyre Sports 1000 Championship continues this weekend on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit at the International Trophy event.

The Spire GT-3 of Carl Austen leads the points standings after scoring his maiden victory at Croft last month. The North Yorkshire opener remarkably saw six different drivers finish on the podium.

Noah Osbaldeston claimed the honours in race two in his Mittell MC-53 ahead of his team-mate and reigning champion Dan Clowes. The Spire's of Jonathan McGill, Colin Chapman and Daniel Ashby were all podium finishers over the weekend with the latter sitting second in the points standings.
