Hello all. Parades commission submission will be going in soon. Last year the CO DOWN Marshalls Ride Out ❤️🌈 provided es**rt and junction management for the run, hopefully they will assist again this year as professionally as they did last year (Mary Doll Patterson).

For information of those planning on taking part. Last year the feedback from the bikers has brought about the following advice...

Folks we can’t have large gaps forming in the convoy. There are no speeds worth talking about involved during the run. As such we shouldn’t be experiencing large gaps in the convoy. But it happens. Marshals at a junction can’t hold up traffic to facilitate participants that have fallen behind. We need to keep the convoy tight and flowing. Or risk being left to fend for yourselves.

Moving forward - if the convoy can stay tight we can navigate the junctions as we approach them, continue to our RV regroup locations (necessary for the bikers to get ahead of the convoy and manage the roads & junctions still to be reached). By tight I mean keep the vehicle in front of you within a close line of sight. Loose sight of the car in front and risk being left out of the managed convoy.

Genuinely last year was a huge success. I want this year to be better.
