One of our own cars is finally getting a bit of well-deserved TLC.

This one is having a new set of front torsion arms fitted. It's a very common issue on these cars, and once they start to wear, they produce an unpleasant screeching noise that definitely isn't ideal.

With the new arms fitted and a fresh oil service completed, it's ready to get back on the road.

This BMW has now covered over 250,000 miles, proving that with the right maintenance and regular servicing, these cars are more than capable of going the distance.

BMW E92 320d – In for some major maintenance 🔧

We've been looking after this E92 for a number of years now, and around 100,000 miles ago we fitted a timing chain kit. It's now back with us for another one, giving the owner added peace of mind for many more miles.

This time around we fitted a genuine BMW timing chain kit, along with a number of other maintenance items to keep the car in top condition.

This BMW F32 420d was in with us this week for some routine maintenance.

We fitted a complete set of rear brakes, including new brake shoes, before carrying out a full road test to ensure everything was working exactly as it should.

Now it's back with the customer, driving smoothly and stopping as it should.

This BMW X5 40d was recovered to us last week with the all-too-common crankshaft pulley failure.

Thankfully, this one has a happy ending. The customer broke down late on Wednesday afternoon, and we were able to arrange recovery, source the required parts, and have the vehicle repaired and back on the road by lunchtime on Thursday.

The X5 is now running perfectly again, and most importantly, the customer is delighted with the quick turnaround.

F20 BMW 116i in this week for some MOT preparation!

This one came in needing a fair bit of suspension work, which isn't uncommon on these cars as they get older. We replaced both foremost lower control arms and both track rod ends, leaving the car safe and ready for the road again.

While it was in the workshop, we also fitted a complete set of rear brakes, including new brake shoes.

Now it's back together and ready for a fresh MOT

Another returning customer back in with their F31 BMW for a fresh set of brakes.

Return customer back in with a 2014 520d

Full set of front arms on this one along with a service and headlight repair, whilst there, we also rectified a track rod end that needed replacing.

Headlight came off first thing and went away to DG Auto Customs for a reseal, new loom and module, they had it back within 3 hours for us to refit.

We then replaced the tired arms and done an Oil and air filter change.

Finished off by doing a full vehicle check and advising the customer on further maintenance.

This car had a chain done by us about 30k miles ago, so its good to see it still running beautifully and leak-free.

A returning customer brought their BMW X1 back to us, this time with an intermittent loss of power.

After a quick diagnosis, we traced the fault to a sticking EGR valve. We replaced it with a brand-new unit to restore performance and reliability.

While carrying out further diagnostics, we also identified a fault with the glow plug control module. The customer opted to have this replaced at the same time, saving a future visit.

With everything fitted and programmed, the vehicle was reassembled, road tested, and confirmed fault-free.
