Roadside Technician Job at Fourwinds Garage
Fourwinds Garage (Mitchell) Ltd work for major breakdown organisations, The AA, Britannia Rescue, Green Flag, AXA, Call Assist, Allianz and others providing emergency breakdown services at the roadside.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a mechanical background who can serve as a roadside technician in our ever expanding fleet.
Typical duties can vary, anything from flat batteries and wheel changes to diagnostics, temporary mobile repairs, and straight recovery with onboard Rapid-Deployment-Trailer.
Work is based on a shift pattern and will require alternative weekend working and a couple of nights on call, enhanced callout rates apply per job for out of hours working.
Min of 40hours a week but this is often exceeded during busy periods, and can be increased if interested.
Candidate will be provided with a roadside service van to take home, with tools and diagnostics equipment. Training provided.

Recovery Controller / Dispatch Job Opportunity.

Job responsibilities include allocating correct recovery resources to breakdown locations, liaising with customers and breakdown clubs. Accepting and monitoring all aspects of breakdowns looking after our mobile workers at all times.

A good phone manner and calm attitude is essential, in what can be a high pressure environment at times. Communication and logical thinking is key.

Vw transporter t6 in today for some tlc. Repairs on 1st and 2nd synchromeshs as you can see the Teflon coating has failed resulting in poor gear change. Also repairs on 5th and 6th selector fork 🧑‍🔧
