Supporting CUPRA's partnership with Padel at the LTA Padel National Championships 🎾⚡

What a weekend it was, from incredible rallies and fierce competition to a fantastic atmosphere on and off the court, it was brilliant to see the padel community come together in Bristol.

Alongside the action on court, we also showcased the new, all-electric CUPRA Raval, a vehicle that embodies the same innovation, individuality and performance that makes padel such a natural fit for the CUPRA brand.

September Success in Seven 🌟

As we round off September at Mon Motors Group, we're looking back at just a few of the many memorable handovers that made the month so special.

We reached a new milestone and welcomed the new 76-Plate, which our customers were very excited to drive away with.

From families collecting their next adventure-ready SUV to enthusiasts getting behind the wheel of their dream performance car, every handover marks the start of a new journey. It's always a privilege to be part of these exciting moments.

Proud to support Welsh disabled golf on the international stage 🏌️

This September, the International DGA Cup returned for its second edition, bringing the Home Nations of disabled golf together at The Vale Resort in Wales for three fantastic days of competition.

Following its inaugural tournament at Stackstown Golf Club in Dublin in 2024, this year saw 10-player teams representing Wales, Ireland and Scotland compete across 18-hole Stableford matches for the coveted International DGA Cup. 🏆

After three days on the course, Ireland emerged victorious:

🥇 Ireland - 52 points
🥈 Wales - 39 points
🥉 Scotland - 29 points

The tournament concluded with a presentation celebrating the players and their achievements, with trophies, medals and a selection of prizes - including Penderyn Celt Welsh Wh**ky - marking a memorable few days of international competition.

For Mon Motors, it was particularly special to see our longstanding partnership with the Welsh Disabled Golf Association continue on the international stage. Through the support of Mon Motors Volvo Cars Cardiff and Cardiff Audi, we’re proud to help the Welsh team compete on a level playing field and support the opportunities the WDGA continues to create through inclusive sport.

Huge congratulations to Ireland on lifting the 2026 International DGA Cup, and to every golfer who represented Wales, Ireland and Scotland. 👏

We’re incredibly proud to stand alongside the WDGA and look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.

What a day at the Usk Show!

We were proud to showcase a selection of brands from across the Mon Motors Group, with Volvo Cars Cardiff, Volkswagen Van Centre Bristol, Newport Ford Transit Centre, and Geely Newport, our newest arrival to the Group, all on display for visitors to explore.

From family SUVs and electric vehicles to hardworking commercial models, our stand offered something for everyone, and it was great to see so many people stopping by to chat with our teams and get behind the wheel of some of our newest models.

The show also provided a fantastic opportunity to introduce even more people to Geely ahead of the upcoming launch of our brand-new Geely Newport dealership.
