Yay 3 of 3! Well done Joe!! What an exceptional journey! Today marked 4 months to the day of your first lesson and you’ve achieved your pass with a fantastic drive, well done, I’m super proud.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers, gifts 🎁 and card, it was a lovely surprise to come home to.
You now join your sisters on the road of independence but this is where you must keep safe and keep learning.
I’ve been blessed teaching you lovely triplets, the bond you have is unbreakable and so humbling, you support each other so well, you’re truly an asset to your family.
What started as a calamity of problems you overcome it all and pulled it out of the bag.
Car break downs are thankfully few and far between but for the 2nd time in the 20years of teaching it’s happened on the morning of the test, but thakfully quick thinking and problem solving got us there with time to spare, biggest thanks to Elsie for running around like a headless chicken at 8.30am and helping us out greatly, it’s definitelya tale to add the the book (yet to be written) “The trauma of test days”

New changes confirmed

📢 The rules for booking a practical car driving test are changing.

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to change a driving test booking up to 2 times.

A change includes:
- changing the date or time
- changing the test centre
- swapping an appointment with another learner

If you’re an ADI, please make sure your pupils only book their test when they’re ready as swapping between pupils will count towards this limit. You can set times when you're available to take your pupils to their driving tests. This stops your pupils from booking tests at times that do not work for you.

👉 When this comes into force, everyone with a driving test booked will have 2 changes available, regardless of how many changes they may have already made.

This change is part of the outcome of our consultation to improve the way driving tests are booked.

Congratulations Aathira on your pass today, you’ve been a great pupil, overcome some challenges including the (non fault) rear end shunt at the round a bout last year, which knocked us back a bit but you’ve managed to overcome your nerves and built up your confidence by simply following the routines taught, super proud of you.
