⚡ Mercedes EQA – High Voltage Battery Cooling System Repair ⚡
This Mercedes EQA arrived with a yellow coolant warning message displayed on the dashboard.
Following full vehicle diagnostics, we identified a fault with the low-temperature coolant circuit changeover valve, which regulates coolant flow within the high-voltage battery thermal management system.
The low-temperature circuit is responsible for maintaining the correct operating temperature of the HV battery. If coolant flow cannot be correctly controlled, the vehicle will trigger warnings and may limit performance to protect the battery system.
🔧 Repair procedure carried out:
• Diagnosis of the thermal management system fault
• Replacement of the low-temperature coolant circuit changeover valve
• Cooling system refill and bleeding using Mercedes-Benz Xentry diagnostic equipment
• System checks to confirm correct coolant circulation to the HV battery
The vehicle is now operating correctly and back to Mercedes-Benz manufacturer specifications.
