The last of the Daimler DS's for sale this time 1972 Daimler Hearse. Tax and MOT exempt have been told runs and drives. however owner says it can be a little temperamental. My guess would the AED playing up as they do or even plugs, points, condenser, coil, tune up would be my first line of attack. Owner as also informed me that he had a lot of undertaken under it some of which can be clearly seen on bottom edges of the Hearse. Clearly would take some money to get to a sate where suitable for Funerals. And may be on interest to persons into the Goth scene turned into Gothic camper or something more so with DOA on reg plate.

As with the prior cars owner is open to reasonable offer

Second Car reported to have been one of the Queen Mothers DS420's Made in 1972 so is tax and mot exempt. however was not Registered till 1998. so being a Royal car would make sense. Owners tells me that is documents of proof. Is a Running driving car in fact owner used it in the last month or so to transport is Daughter for an event I believe. is of course is a Vanden Plas made car and overall body appears ok but some work will be needed and needs a respray in some area's the lacquer on the veneer is coming of in some areas, plus the heading in rear and front is coming down. again i was nor able to do a full inspection due to time constraint's As with previous car realistic offers will be considered. happy to arrange viewing with owner. this car and the others are located in South Wales.

Update today had some photos and letter of the Car, as you will see was not part of royal fleet, but was used for Royal Duties in Guernsey which explains why was reg in the 90's here in UK including carrying the Queen Mother.

First of the 3 DS's on offer. 1987 Daimler DS420 Black in standard FD spec made and registered in 1982 MOT till 29/10/26 showing milage of 88358. owner informs me is running driving car. needs attention to wheel arch's has had welding work underneath as jack points been removed, and also sills due to underseal on them also needs attention to lower quarter panels plus seems someone as been doing some spraying to various areas would think would need at least a lower respray due to repairs and so on or full colour change, again will consider reasoable realistic offers plus arrange for veiwing.

Recently was contacted by Daimler DS420 Owner as point of contact and arranging viewing for the sale of 3 DS420's 2 Limousines. 1 of which was a Queen Mothers DS, Which the owner informs me as the Documented proof of plus 1 Hearse. Owner is open to realistic offers which i will put forward to him for single DS or all 3. I was unable to to do a full in-depth inspections, Think best for photos of each car to do the talking plus what observation Had time to make. I can say that had the space, time, man power I would have bought all 3 for various reasons. not to break I may add. photos and more info will follow on each car.

Was watching a old episode of the sitcom Bottle Boys made between 1984/85. the other night was surprised to see a Daimler DS420 at end of the episode. Was even more surprised even bit shocked to see the Daimler was carrying the same Reg No as my 1983.
