Remember the 8th August 2026? The little run out to Great Bradley for 'Becca' and her husband? I was promised a couple of photo's of the Bride and Groom together with the Rolls Royce for the page.

Well, today they arrived.

All I can say is WOW!

Hope you like them as much as I do.

Thank you to the photographer who took the images and also to the happy couple who have allowed me to use them here.

Nice to do something special sometimes ... today we gave our God Son and his new wife a special ride home from their wedding ceremony in Cambridge... it's nice to be there for the extended family too...

These are the before shots, hopefully I'll get some after shots from the original photographer later...

Sometimes it is difficult to see the changes - but trust me, they're there.

A big shout out to Mike from Eyeball Mike Pinstriping who came out yesterday and re applied the pinstripe to the side of the Rolls for me. They has become faded and nearly polished out in places after 40 years of car cleaning - now they are restored to their full glory and aren't they smart?

There are in fact three stripes, a pale blue topped and bottomed by a silver - each one is 1.5mm wide and there is 17ft of length .... all done by one man, by hand

Now that's skill and dedication.

Well played Mike.

A date for the diary

22nd August 2026

Newmarket Branch of the Royal British Legion are holding a 'Picnic in the Park' at the Severalls, Newmarket. A lovely way to spend the afternoon and all for a good cause.

We will be present, with the car, so if your are considering using our services for your big day pop along, support the cause, and you can talk with the crew and look over the car to see if we can meet your requirements

Look forward to seeing you there.

Today we took off to Little Bradley, to the Garden Barn - to collect Becca and her parents and took them to St Peter and St Paul Church in Keddington.

What a wonderful day to get married, what a lovely venue and a superb Church too.

Add to that a stunning bride in a beautiful dress and a very smart Groom, well done Dan.

Hopefully a couple of photos with the car to follow later, in the meantime here she is, in the shade of the trees outside the church awaiting the return trip.

The 'Old Lady' still turns out nicely, I think. After all, she is now officially a 'Historic Vehicle' being over 40 yrs old... Still took 2 Hours to polish and buff!

A nice surprise for the bride in Stowmarket on Saturday. Collecting her from the 'after Ceremony' drinks and taking her, her new husband and delightful daughter to their reception in Norton.

I hope to have more photo's to add to the listing later on.

I think the Green Ribbons were a bold choice - but they do actually go well on the car and complimented the overall colour choice of the bridal party ...

Emilis and his friend, safely and comfortably conveyed from Thetford to their prom at the Atheneum in Bury St Edmunds.

Particularly liked the suit and tie - almost matched the car colour and interior....

Blue Knight stepped up this evening to help out Charlotte, whose daughter had been left stranded and without transport to her prom this evening.

Less than 2 hours to get both car and driver up to an acceptable standard, thank you Helen for those bows, and we managed to get Millie safely to her prom

Cheeky Charlotte even caught me in photos before I could get out of the shot.

Millie, you looked great. Charlotte, you are welcome.

It was a pleasure to be a part of Ryan and Linzi ' s big day on Saturday .

Despite the fact that the Bury St Edmunds Registry Office is now the scene of the Registry Ceremonies, rather than the Atheneum which did confuse me for a moment, the resulting photographs show that we got over it!

Congratulations to you both, you had a wonderful day and looked awesome.
