Des Bushell has a lifelong love of land rovers and acquired Pegasus Garage over a decade ago from its founder. Des has broadened the offering to the provision of a complete range of automotive services for all vehicles but continues to specialise in servicing, repair and restoration of land rovers and other 4x4s. storation. In addition to the usual servicing, mechanical and welding repairs recent / ongoing customer projects include:

-200 / 300 TDI engine conversions to older land rover 90's
-3.9 efi v8 conversion of a Series 2a
-Complete restoration of a customers 1992 Range Rover Classic 3.9 efi including new block and full engine chassis and bodywork overhaul. Complete restoration of a pair of 1976 and 1979 Range Rover Classics to original specification complete with period features. Restoration of a Series 3 Land Rover to original specification

We also offer sales of Land Rovers and inspections of customer prospective purchases.

Pegasus Garage is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our friendly team.

🕘 Monday–Friday | 9:00am–3:00pm

We're looking for an organised, friendly and proactive person to become the first point of contact for our customers. The role includes answering calls and emails, managing bookings, taking payments, preparing invoices and estimates, ordering vehicle parts, and working closely with the Director to help keep our busy garage running smoothly.

Customer service and administration experience are essential. Previous experience working in a garage isn't necessary, although it would be an advantage.

Full training will be provided.

Experience with social media, Canva or Wix would also be a bonus.

It’s a scorcher today!

We had this Range Rover Evoque in the workshop for an AdBlue tank replacement after diagnosing an internal failure of the ultrasonic level sensor.

Faults like this can lead to AdBlue system warnings and require replacement of the complete tank assembly.

Another repair completed and back on the road. ✅

It’s strange seeing the workshop empty.

This is where the business began back in 1993, and I’ve been lucky enough to call it home since 2019. Looking around now, it’s hard not to think about all the memories this place holds, the long days, the late nights, the challenging jobs, the laughs, the cups of coffee, and the countless Land Rovers that have passed through the doors.

Tomorrow I open the doors to a new workshop. It’s a big step, and if I’m honest, it’s both exciting and a little daunting.

I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point, my family, friends, colleagues, suppliers, and everyone who has supported me along the way. And a huge thank you to all of my customers for your patience while I’ve been moving, and for continuing to support my small independent Land Rover specialist business. Every booking, recommendation and kind word has helped make this possible.

Closing this door is emotional, but opening the next one is something I’m incredibly excited about.

Here’s to the next chapter. See you all soon. 🚙🔧
