We are fully aware of the expense of running and maintaining a vehicle, and often, the only good news a garage can give a customer is that their vehicle has passed the M.O.T! With that always in mind we aim to provide help and advise clients to maintain and service the

ir vehicles in the most safe, cost effective and efficient way possible. All work is carried out by fully trained technicians. We subscribe to auto-data and snap-on diagnostics where we receive regular updates on the latest data and vehicle specifications available to the independent garage. This allows us to service and maintain the latest vehicles and in most cases this will not invalidate any warranty. We are based in Newhaven on the Avis Way Industrial Estate and provide a service for up to 10 miles from our premises, including Peacehaven, Seaford and Lewes.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and functioning optimally. A commitment to customer service and quality workmanship is essential.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
Perform equipment repair using various hand tools and power tools.
Assemble and weld components as needed to ensure proper vehicle function.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
Ensure a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
A valid driving licence is required
Mot Tester not a necessity but would be beneficial
