In this week we had another returning customer with their lovely 525i.
The o/s/r sill needed to be repaired due to being corroded through as can be seen in the photographs.
So exhaust system down, propshaft down and fuel tank down to give the fabricators we use all the access they need and most importantly for their own health and safety.
While the car was away we noticed the propshaft coupling was badly worn and cracking with the threads being visible so this was changed for a new genuine BMW part, as shown in a previous video fitted correctly.
With the car back from having the repair work carried out we used clear waxoyl on the brake pipes around the tank as they were original and in good shape so we want to preserve them as much as possible along with coating the sill repair with a healthy coating to.
A pre MOT check also carried out to ensure this car gets through another year.

For sale I have a complete set of mudflaps removed from a 530i saloon. They are in good overall condition, could just benefit from a clean before fitting.
There is only one factory fixing clip on one of the rear mudflaps as can be seen in the photographs. I have included a bag of the fixings that did hold these on but you may want to replace those
£160 collected or can post for additional cost.
Collection would be from RH5 near to Gatwick airport

Little exhaust job on this e46 330ci yesterday. The original pipes going into the back box were corroded and leaking and after previous attempts to seal up the leak elsewhere the noice from a blowing exhaust was proving to be a bit too irritating for the customer.
A really good condition replacement with working exhaust flap was sourced from the one and only Nick Jupp, tired old section cut out and the replacement fitted in place using some clamping sleeves.
All back up and running with no blowing exhaust = one happy customer

With some exciting news inbound for the other side of my unit, it does mean I need to free up some space to help make this happen which means having a bit of a parts clearance.
This will include everything on my eBay of which I’ll share the link below and any parts that can be sort of seen in the mess you can see in the photographs. The green saloon is also a breaker so anything interior or panel wise can be removed but needs to be running for now. All needs to go so any requests let me know. I can put bundle deals together for multiple purchases and so on. Also check out the ebay link below and everything on there is open to offers
