We are currently seeking mobile plant tyre fitters, covering the North East of England. (Tyneside, Teesside, Northumberland, Durham)
The successful candidates MUST have tyre fitting experience, preferably on plant machinery. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and a valid UK driving license, minor points may be considered. Wage is negotiable, depending on experience.
Extensive training will be given and a well-equipped company vehicle will be provided. You will be required to respond to instructions from our local breakdown control centre to attend to our customers’ vehicles on site, to repair and fit tyres and tubes to plant machinery, i.e. JCBs, forklifts and dumpers.
This is very much an all weather, outdoor based job role, working with large tyres on plant machinery. If you think that you would be suitable for this position and would like to work as part of a tight knit team for a local family run business, are able to work unsupervised, without the pressure of working to targets, then you could be the candidate we’re looking for.
