This 2022 A3 was in this week with a transmission fault on the instrument cluster.

A common issue on this chassis including the Golf etc. This particular fault required us to replace the park selector unit.

All fixed and back on the road.

This Peugeot boxer ambulance was in today after it was having issues continuously prompting for an oil change, this wasn’t caused by continuous regenerations and the oil was not contaminated.

This is a known issue on early software in the DCM6.2.

We carried out a software update using dealer tools and got this vehicle back out on the road where it is needed.

Keeping taxis on the road 🚕

This Vivaro was in with a battery light on the dash and charging fault.

Lin signal at alternator extremely unreliable with heavy frame loss.

Snapped wire in the engine harness between the alternator and auxiliary body control module.

New feed ran and back on the road ⚙️

This DS3 Electric came in this week with a monitoring radar fault, on inspection the radar was almost 40 degrees out and the VIN was incorrect.

Normally these radars cannot be reused on other vehicles as they come partially coded from factory.

Not however an issue for us, as we can re-vin and reflash the radar with the correct software and re-calibrate.

All done and fault free 🧑‍💻

This Volvo V90 came in to us this week with a none functioning rear view camera.

When we hooked up the scanner and Vida we could not communicate with the IHU at all, despite there being no DTCs for loss of communication.

We scoped the network at the IHU and found a good trace, upon examining dealer diagrams we identified that the VCM acts as a DoIP gateway for the IHU, and had unfortunately internally failed.

Used unit fitted and cloned 1:1, rear camera replaced now communication is restored and back to factory 🔧

This Megan E-Tech was in again this week, this was the vehicle we previously reset the crash data on (BMS and airbag).

It unfortunately wouldn’t charge, this was identified to be an insulation fault on the inverter, fault repaired, HV insulation shutdown reset with dealer Renault software and as shown back charging again.
