We invest heavily in the most up to date and capable diagnostic systems that can identify intermittent faults and repair/update software issues on an almost complete vehicle makes/model coverage.
Even brake pad replacement on modern vehicles can require this equipment to put them into service mode beforehand or permanent damage can occur to expensive ABS modules -this can no longer be done the old way of pushing pistons back first!
Most new vehicles have restricted gateways to gain access to the onboard diagnostics,this is all security based with a two/three stage verification required. Garages that don’t invest will struggle with basic tasks on newer stuff.

Ensure your garage uses the correct oil and correct grade oils for your vehicle,I see too often multi grade oil barrels outside of garages which is not suitable for modern vehicles with dpf/wet belt and modern management systems. Incorrect lubricants not only would void a warranty but could literally cause catastrophic engine damage. We only use top brand correct spec lubricants bought in bulk to keep costs down!
Don’t assume ‘they’re a garage so they know what they are doing’
