We have been busy with a lot of stuff I haven't posted on here lately, one of these is our CD450 Units which we have posted out four in this last week alone

These radios upgrade the original CD400 adding Bluetooth for calls and music, USB and optional DAB

These fit the Astra J, Meriva B, Zafira C and Insignias

The easiest way to upgrade to Bluetooth but keep the car factory

A local customer came to us for an Upgrade from the CD400, she specifically asked to stay OEM and not fit anything aftermarket, this is where we stepped in and fitted a Navi650

Navi650 with Reverse camera, usb, dab, 7".colour display and Bluetooth for calls and music

This is as fully factory fitted, but not only this we also added our Vauxlink module aswell

This module adds Apple Car Play and Android Auto directly to the factory Navi650 system, this means no slow Android radio, no compatibility or lagging issues, keeping everything completely factory and as Vauxhall intended

Job complete and all done in a few hours, unfortunately no pictures of the Reverse Camera as I forgot but nothing that hasn't been seen before. 😁

Customer came along with there own HMI 2.5 which they had swapped from the HMI 2.0, This was now showing as theft locked...

Customer came along with there own HMI 2.5 which they had swapped from the HMI 2.0, This was now showing as theft locked on the display

Vin Relearn, Custom Calibrations & Software update applied to this HMI for Android Auto Support. We also software updated the radio too

Now the customer has Apple car play and Android Auto on his 2014 Vauxhall Insignia

Ok so here is a job I didn't really have much excitement for especially as it was a tourer and these are awful in their own tights just to fit the camera never mind upgrading to the Navigation system

The customer came to us after he had installed an Android aftermarket system and wasn't happy with it, slow, lagging and more complicated to use

This is where he asked about going from the RF400 to the Navi900 with Android Auto and Apple car play

Radio changed, multitudes of wiring changed, MOST bus circuit modified to include the HMI, HMI wired with custom wiring and Reverse Camera added

Very time consuming job with it being a tourer especially but we got there in the end, all tested and working, Navigation menu added to his instrument cluster and all usual extras

Now he has the full factory Navi900 with Android Auto and Apple Car Play as well as the Reverse Camera with Automatic activation on Reverse

A lot of people have asked about this job and we have this job again next month, so may become a popular one going forward

Astra J in for a Navi650 fitted in place of the original CD400

Navi650 fitted with 7" Colour Display, Reverse Camera, USB and Bluetooth for calls and music

Wiring changes made, factory microphone fitted, 180° Reverse Camera fitted into the rear bumper, all programming made including extras onto the instrument cluster

Happy customer with a quick turn around, we do these regularly and have done for years now.

Not a great deal of pictures for this as it's quite time consuming

Phil's Astra VXR came along for Infinity sound retrofitted onto his Navi950

All original speakers removed and the 2ohms Infinity factory Speakers were installed

3 wiring looms fitted which consists of the power and subwoofer loom, Body loom with speaker outputs running to all 4 speakers, dashboard loom running the tweeters, centre speaker and connections to the factory radio for audio input to the amplifier, amplifier activation and control wires

Flexi floor installed to cover the subwoofer and finnally Radio reprogrammed for infinity support

All completed and actually didn't take as long as we expected it to aswell, a couple of minor bits like the boot Offside carpet is slightly different for the infinity cars and the door grill badges need fitting yet.

We have a full kit available £450 including installation with flex floor

Preface insignia in for Programming of his Supplied facelift cluster and wiring adapter from our friend Blitzmotorworks

Security code, Vin, Calibration programming and DiD coding all performed on the bench ready to fit

Previously with this cluster fitted the car wouldn't start due to the incorrect security code inside the cluster, the BCM was also reporting an incorrect ID too hence the none start.

After programming the cluster, the car started straight up, coding performed and all possible extras added to the instrument cluster

Such a huge change to the preface having the colour clusters fitted, brings such a more modern feeling to these cars

Awesome Insignia VXR preface with us recently

The customer wanted to update the feel of the car but remain completely with factory equipment

Original Preface instrument cluster replaced with the 8" Buick Petrol Cluster fully programmed by us with our Astra2Lin Module allowing for the original Stalk controls to work on the instrument cluster

We added the VXR theme aswell as all Performance pages options including working Oil Temperature, Battery Voltage gauges included on the main display, aswell as G Force, Brake and Throttle menus, loads of eco menus including 2 trip computers, drive cycle menus and more

We also fitted our Vauxlink module to the CD500 adding Apple Car Play and Android Auto to the factory radio with reverse camera support and movie playback via USB

The Instrument Cluster is available at £375 programmed, with wiring and Astra2Lin adapter

Vauxhall Insignia Facelift came along for some nice upgrades

We swapped the HMI 2.0 over for a custom programmed HMI 2.5 adding Apple Car Play and Android Auto to the factory radio

We swapped the 4" Colour Instrument cluster for the 8" Insignia Colour Cluster and what a difference that is to look at

We also added all available extras to the Instrument Cluster including battery voltage, oil pressure, g force and other performance menus, eco pages including drive cycle menu

As well as this we added a 180° HD Reverse Camera to the factory radio, automatically activated when reversing with moving guide lines
