🎃 Forget Halloween... THIS is the stuff of nightmares!

Any ideas how some of these ended up in such a state? 🤔

These are just a few of the worst we've seen in our workshops. We're sure you'll agree... they're absolutely terrifying!

The scariest part? According to TyreSafe, an estimated 6 MILLION illegal tyres are on the UK roads every year 😳

As October is Tyre Safety Month, we thought it was a good time to remind everyone to check their tyres.

Yes, we know it's boring and checking them is a chore... BUT you really don't want to end up driving around on rubber like this!

REMEMBER:

🛞 Check your tyres at least once a month.

📏 1.6mm is the legal minimum tread depth.

💸 £2,500 fine + 3 penalty points per illegal tyre.

We could go on... but we won't. We're sure you get the message!

Another building in need of a makeover? Oh, go on then... why not? 🔨😅

We're back at it again, this time in Rugeley, Staffordshire, where we're busy transforming a rather tired old building into what will become our 30th Eden Tyres & Servicing branch!

And as you can probably tell from the photos, we've got our work cut out with this one 😂

It's definitely a case of Location, Location, Location... It's in a lovely part of Rugeley, even if the building itself has seen better days 💨 But we can see the potential, and with plenty of hard work and a LOT of tlc... we think it'll make a really lovely branch!

This is our fourth and final big makeover project of the year, and we're working hard to get everything finished in time for an opening in January 2027.

There's still a fair bit to do (understatement of the year!) but we're really looking forward to seeing this one come together ✨

⚽🐏 What a day to remember!

We recently joined Spondon Rovers Raiders Boys U8s and Codnor Sports Sapphires Girls U11s at Derby County for a very special day, and we thought we’d share a few of the behind-the-scenes photos! 📸

The children were treated to a tour of the ground, got to sit where the commentators do, met some of the players and even had the chance to head out onto the pitch ⚽🤩

And to top it all off, they were presented with their brand-new ETS sponsored kits for the season! 👕❤️

It was fantastic to see how much everyone enjoyed the experience, especially the kids. Plenty of smiles, lots of excitement and hopefully some memories they’ll keep forever.

A huge thank you to Derby County for helping make it such a special day 🐏❤️

She’d only just passed her driving test when she got stuck in a muddy car park… and somehow, we still let her work with cars 😂

Meet Lucy! 👋

Our Customer Service Assistant, nature-loving free spirit, dog mum to two very lucky pups, horse lover, cheese enthusiast and, apparently, secret Eminem rapper 🎤

Lucy has been part of the Eden Tyres family for just over two years (Burton customers may remember her from her receptionist days) and when we asked her to describe working here in three words, she kept it simple:

“Like a family” ❤️

She loves the people, the fast pace and, most importantly, helping customers. There’s nothing she enjoys more than finding a positive outcome and knowing she’s been able to make someone’s day a little easier. (If you ever use the Chat 💬 feature on our website, there's a good chance Lucy will be the person assisting you!)

Her approach to customer service is pretty simple too:

“We’re here for whatever you need. We’ll always give you an honest answer and do our best to help”

Outside of work, Lucy is happiest outdoors with her dogs and fiancé Matt, whether that’s a long dog walk, going for a ride somewhere beautiful 🐎 or settling down afterwards for a ‘picky bits’ tea and a good film 🍿

Her dream? A big farmhouse with plenty of land, more dogs and a horse. Or perhaps a campervan tour around Europe. Or two weeks pretending to be a cowgirl on a ranch in Nashville 🤠

Basically, Lucy would quite like to escape civilisation entirely.

Although she does have one non-negotiable: good car speakers and Bluetooth 🔊

And if you ever hear Eminem coming from a Volvo V40 … it might just be Lucy 🚗🎶

So there you have it... she's a great girl and we're very glad she’s part of the ETS family ❤️

Well… what a week it’s been 😅

If you’ve not already heard, we’ve opened our 29th branch this week in Yaxley, Peterborough - our family business is definitely spreading out 😂

There’s no Eden signs just yet - the garage is still trading as SMS Motor Services, just now as part of the Eden Tyres Group ✨

It’s been a busy few days getting settled in, meeting the team and finding our feet in our new home.

There’s something really special about taking on an established local garage, and we’re looking forward to getting to know all the customers who’ve trusted previous owner Rob and the SMS team over the years ❤️

For now, here’s a little look at our first week in Yaxley 📸

It’s official!
We’ve kept this one fairly quiet, but as ever, there’s been plenty going on behind the scenes…

Today, Stanground Motor Services (SMS) in Yaxley officially became part of Eden Tyres & Servicing - giving us our second branch in the Peterborough area and taking the Eden network to 29 branches! 🎉
Pictured here making it official are SMS owner Rob Nottingham and our Managing Director, Jim Nicholls, as Rob hands over the keys to the business.

SMS has been looking after local motorists for many years and there’s a lot about the business that feels familiar to us. It’s family-run, down to earth and has built its reputation on good service, honest advice and looking after customers properly.

We’re particularly pleased that members of the skilled and experienced SMS team are staying with us. They know their customers, they know the local area and they’ve built a great reputation within the community - so we’re delighted to welcome them to Team Eden ❤

For now, you’ll still see Stanground Motor Services above the door, with the garage becoming fully Eden Tyres & Servicing branded in the coming months.

Yes, today, Stanground Motor Services has officially become part of our group. SMS in Yaxley will be the 29th Eden Tyres & Servicing branch and our 2nd garage in the Peterborough area ❤
