🔧 2022 KIA SPORTAGE HYBRID – CLUTCH & FLYWHEEL REPLACEMENT 🔧

Another big job completed at AM Autos! 🔴⚫

This 2022 Kia Sportage Hybrid manual came into us requiring a clutch and flywheel replacement.

The gearbox was removed, allowing us to replace the clutch assembly and dual-mass flywheel, before everything was refitted and the vehicle was thoroughly checked and road tested. ✅

🚗 Another Lucky Escape at AM Autos! 🚗

This Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI came into the workshop after the water pump failed, causing the timing belt to fail.

The customer was extremely lucky—despite the timing belt failure, there was NO engine damage. No bent valves, no damaged pistons… just a very fortunate outcome!

We’ve now fitted:
✅ New timing belt kit
✅ New water pump
✅ Fresh coolant
✅ Car checked over and back on the road safely

This is a great reminder that the water pump is just as important as the timing belt. A worn or failing pump can lead to a timing belt failure, which on most engines can result in thousands of pounds worth of engine repairs.

Don’t wait until it’s too late—if your timing belt is due, get it replaced before it becomes an expensive problem.
