What an amazing evening we had at OUR Trade Show at Newark Showground!

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come along and support us! It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and welcome new ones too!

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of the original founder of Partic, Bob Beard, at the age of 89.

Bob passed away peacefully at home on Monday 10th August.

Originally from a farming background, Bob moved into haulage and set up C.R Beard Haulage. Frustrated by the difficulties he experienced sourcing parts to keep his own Trucks & Trailers on the road, he began stocking components and building his own stock profile.

It wasn’t long before news spread and he would often help out other local hauliers, with spare parts and re-lining brake shoes. Usually, leaving the key under a brick for them to help themselves and write down what they have used. This was the start of Partic, back in 1979.

Bob’s passion was always farming and he farmed until the age of 81, before suffering a major stroke 8 years ago.

Bob will be dearly missed by all xx
