These two Soft99 ソフト９９コーポレーション products are great if you're a weekend detailing warrior.

The micro liquid compound is a great car paintwork prep for light scratches, marring, and contamination. I used this to remove some traffic film remover chemical marring that someone had previously damaged the paintwork with, and it worked a treat.

Then the car was finished off with some Soft99 water block super splash for protection and gloss sealant/wax.
