1994 Rover Mini Sprite. 1275cc

Finished in Electric blue, a colour that really suits the Mini shape, and enhanced with a Black roof and those deep dish ten inch GB wheels with Yokohama Advan A-008 tyres. This Sprite benefits from having a huge amount of recent expenditure and upgrades that has created a fantastic combination of awesome looks and excellent driveability. It has only had two previous owners in 32 years and has covered a very low 41 thousand miles. It was registered new by Four Seasons Rover in Kingston and still proudly wears its original dealer registration plate and tax disc holder.

On the road this Mini is excellent, the low mileage 1275 carb fed engine revs freely with a smooth power band and the gearbox is precise. We have just treated it to a completely rebuilt cylinder head which hugely benefits any Mini. It has been upgraded to ten inch wheels which give that legendary Classic Mini handling, it also has servo assisted Cooper S disc brakes, Spax Nitro shock absorbers and an RC40 exhaust. It also has twin fuel tanks which were the sixties Cooper S main stay aiding long distance cruising and they look cool. The results are a driver focussed Mini that excels wherever you wish to take it and get ready for lots of admiration, this Mini always seems to get.

The interior has been nicely upgraded over the standard Sprite spec. It has full leather seats finished in Black with green centres, matching door cards and carpets with Alloy door trim. It also has a Pioneer CD, AUX, USB and DAB Radio. This model also has rear seat belts.

The Mini has an excellent shell that has been very well preserved, it has gleaming original floor pans, the original vented sills, original boot floor and all original body panels. The inner arches are finished in body colour and the engine bay is also well detailed. The paintwork is very well presented and virtually blemish free, it belies its vintage and has certainly been loved and cherished.

The Mini has been fully serviced, tuned, checked and driven and has a long MOT. It is ready for a Classic Mini adventure.

SOLD 1978 Austin Mini 1293cc. Fast road spec.

Finished in one of my favourite colours of the era, Java Green with a contrasting black roof, wheel arches, deep dish ten inch Minilite wheels and that very sexy Italian Job spot lamp bar with period chrome Lucas Spotlights, leather bonnet straps and Lucas boot mounted Spotlamp. If you have promised yourself that one day you will treat yourself to a Classic Mini then this maybe the one. In 2015 it was comprehensively restored to a very high standard covering every single component. The build took over 4000 hours and cost nearly twenty thousand pounds to complete. It is accompanied with a large detailed build folder which includes invoices for every part used and also photographs of the process. The Mini has only covered 54k in 48 years and since its restoration it has settled in nicely into the fantastic package it is.

It certainly has amazing looks and also the performance to match. It has a very healthy 1293cc engine that was fully rebuilt at the same time as the restoration and fully lightened and balanced, it also has a HIF44 carb, electronic ignition and stage one kit, mated to a smooth and precise gearbox that also benefits from a Quick shift. It pulls well through all the gears and has a fantastic sound thanks to the RC40 exhaust. It is a very easy Mini to drive, smooth power when its needed and thanks to Yokohama A-008 tyres it has very precise handling and Cooper S disc brakes add confidence. On the twisty roads it is excellent fun and it will easily keep up with modern traffic and beyond. It will certainly make you smile as much as it has me.

The interior is beautifully presented and finished to a high standard. It has a black seats with a basket weave pattern with matching front and rear cards, matching black roof lining, fully fitted carpet set and a full length Gloss Black dash with the all important three clock binnacle. It also has a Mota-Lita steering wheel, period cowling mounted rev counter and a 12 Volt socket. The boot area has Cooper S boot board brackets with a boot board and the engine bay is nicely detailed.

The Mini has a fantastic shell and is highly detailed on the underside and completely body coloured throughout. All of the running gear was replaced and the subframes look new. The paintwork is gleaming, this Mini is easily of show quality whilst also is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

We have fully serviced, checked, tuned and driven this Mini and it will be supplied with a full MOT. It is also a Historic vehicle so is MOT and Tax exempt.

SOLD 1999 Rover Mini Cooper 1275cc MPi

Finished in the rare colour combination of Surf Blue with contrasting Monaco half leather trim. Surf blue Minis were produced in low numbers and have always been one of my favourite late Rover colours giving a retro sixties look, this Cooper also has an optional period Roof rack that adds to the theme and wider profile Minilite wheels so it really stands out from the crowd. It has only covered 50 thousand miles in 27 years with just four previous owners. It has been meticulously maintained throughout its life with one of the most detailed service history folders I have even seen. It has been loved and cherished as a club car and attended many events. It is accompanied with its original handbooks and both sets of keys and fobs.

In 2005 it was sent to John Cooper Works where it received the John Cooper "S" Works 90 BHP Tuning kit. This is fully documented in the history folder and it briefly consists of a Stage 3 Cylinder head with double valve springs, uprated fuel pressure regulator, gas flowed inlet manifold, uprated exhaust, high lift roller rockers and the "S" works air filter box. It also boasts twin fuel tanks for long distance cruising and they look fantastic! There is a plaque indicating that this special Mini is number: CS232.

On the road is where the fun starts. The "S" works tuning kit offers a very useful power upgrade and it really helps to maximise the Minis road holding capability and offers lots more useful torque and top end performance whilst being a very easy car to drive. The power is impressive, it revs freely throughout the rev range and keeps up with anything especially on the twisty roads. The twin exit Maniflow exhaust gives it a purposeful burble that all quick Coopers should have. The gearbox is taught and precise and the handling is fantastic. Being an MPI Mini, which stands for, Multi Point Fuel Injection, also means it is blissfully easy to use, offering all of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist, simply turn the key and go. Further MPi features include a Drivers airbag, side impact beams, an alarm and immobiliser and taller gearing for long distance cruising that really suits the extra power of the "S" pack. This is a drivers Mini that is very engaging to drive with guaranteed grin factor.

The interior is well presented with Monaco half leather trim, full length Walnut dash with Magnolia dials, 12V socket for charging and a Sony CD USB. This model also has rear seat belts.

The Mini has a very solid shell and has been well maintained throughout its life, it has not been restored just cared for, it has the correct vented sills, solid subframes and floors. The paintwork is well presented and does belie its vintage. This is a very good looking Cooper with performance to match and will make its lucky new owner very happy indeed.

The Mini has been fully checked, serviced, tuned and driven and has a full no advisory MOT and is ready to be enjoyed.

1998 Rover Mini MPi 1275cc

Finished in gleaming Platinum Silver that we have styled with a contrasting black roof, bonnet stripes, LED headlamp upgrade, Cooper grille and those legendary Rose Petal alloy wheels with wider profile tyres giving this Mini purposeful looks. This excellent example has only covered 40k in 27 years with just 3 previous owners, the first lady owner cared for it for 23 of those. It was supplied new by John Cooper garages and still wears its dealer sticker and number plate. It is accompanied with its original handbooks, MOTs, service receipts and three sets of keys and fobs. We have lavished much time and expense on this Mini and treated it to many new parts and it is now ready for a new Classic Mini adventure.

On the road this Mini drives very well. The low mileage 1275 engine is very smooth and the gearbox is taught and precise. 2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport. 1275

Finished in British racing Green. This is a genuine Cooper Sport manufactured at the very end of Classic Mini production. The colour really sets off the Sportspack lines and it is contrasted with a platinum silver roof, bonnet stripes and four spot lamps with a black and silver leather interior. This Cooper Sport has only covered just 73k in 26 years and is accompanied with its original owners handbooks, and a service history folder. It has also only had two previous owners. It has never been restored and remains wonderfully original with a real feel of quality. It has been carefully cherished and garaged and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

On the road this Sport drives very well indeed. We have maintained this example for the last three years and it remains one of the nicest Sports I have ever driven. The 1275 engine is
smooth and the gearbox is taught and precise, The ride and handling are also fantastic and the Cooper burble is present and correct thanks to a Maniflow exhaust. Performance is very brisk and on the open road this Sport will make you smile. This is an MPi Mini which stands for Multi point fuel injection, MPI Minis offer all of the Classic Mini charm with everyday use ability, just simply turn the key and go. This model also has rear seat belts.

This Cooper Sport has a very solid shell and has its original gleaming floor pans, body coloured inner arches, vented sills, untouched boot floor and solid subframes. All of the panels appear to be original. The paintwork is absolutely gleaming, this is a very good looking Cooper Sport in an excellent colour combination.

SOLD 1975 Morris Mini 1275 GT.

An icon amongst Classic Cars and particularly Minis, the highly sought after 1275 GT. Finished in gleaming Glacier white and a wonderful contrasting Ochre trim, black GT decals and brand new Minilite wheels with wider profile tyres for that purposeful look. This matching numbers example has only had six owners in 51 years and has clearly been loved and cherished as it is very rare to see an original early GT with not only its twin bolt front subframe shell with all of its correct numbers including the FE, body and commission numbers but it also has that amazing original interior. It also still has both of its original pressed steel number plates. In 2015 it benefitted from a sympathetic refurbishment that is detailed in its own hard back book. The results are fantastic as this GT has its original seventies feel that so many can loose from being over restored. This GT can be shown and driven.

On the road this GT will not disappoint, the 1275 engine pulls like a train through the gears and offers an exciting fun drive, the gearbox is also super smooth. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this GT, it is a real drivers machine that loves the twisty stuff. It benefits from brand new brakes discs and callipers and a brand new carb amongst a long list of many new parts and the results are very positive, the full grin factor driving experience is on offer here and the attention you will receive when out and about makes you feel very popular.

This GT has, in my opinion, one of the best interiors I have seen in a Mini, I maybe biased as I adore seventies Minis, but apart from the carpets it is totally original right down to the door seals and the roof liner. Ochre seats with matching door cards, the all important 3 clock dash with rev counter and 120MPH speedo, GT 3 spoke leather steering wheel and correct for its years early switch panel and MK3 cowl.

The Mini has a very solid shell with body coloured floor pans and inner arches, it has the correct vented sills and detailed engine bay and boot area. The paintwork is very well presented and gleams whilst still having that original look.

This GT is fully serviced, checked, driven and tuned. It also has a full MOT and is of course MOT and tax exempt.

SOLD 1991 Rover Mini 1293cc. Fast Road spec.

I have thoroughly enjoyed preparing this Mini, it has an enviable spec, awesome looks and offers a real sensory experience on the open road. Finished in Yukon grey with a white roof and enhanced with colour coded group 5 wheel arches and a very sexy set of thirteen inch Superlite alloys with Yokohama tyres. Creating a Mini to this specification can be very costly and involve many hours of preparation, this one benefits from having all of the hard work done and so is ready for the open road. Fitted with an Avobar 1293cc engine with a fast road cam, lightened and balanced, matched pistons, heavy duty engine bearings, high capacity oil pump, Duplex timing gear and a fast road spec cylinder head with 1.5.1 roller rockers. It also benefits from an Avobar built gearbox with a straight cut close ratio gear set, 3.4 final drive, central oil pick up pipe and a cross pin diff. The results are a very healthy and easy to use 100 BHP.

On the road this Mini is awesome. The 1293cc engine is virtually silent with healthy oil pressure having only covered around 1000 miles in total. Power is instant in any gear and it just continues to pull right through the rev range, tall gearing also means it is happy on any road, powering through the twisty stuff or storming an A road. It has precise handling with many suspension upgrades, poly bushed throughout, adjustable front and rear camber, Hi-Lo suspension for adjusting ride height and fully adjustable upgraded gas shock absorbers. The sound is fantastic with that addictive fast road Mini bark through the HIF 44 carb, the straight cut gears singing and a full Maniflow exhaust system giving it a purposeful burble. You will certainly just want to keep driving this Mini as it just makes you smile the whole time.

The interior continues with the fast road theme, purposeful and functional and finished to a good standard. It has a custom dash giving you all the important information such as oil pressure, volts, temp and revs. It has air craft style flip switches and a retro map reading lamp. The battery and brake lines run inside as does the screen wash bottle for the full race look. An Alcantara steering wheel also gives you that race car feel and the very supportive Cobra bucket seats finish off the look. It also has a quick shift for immediate and precise gear changes, a rear roll cage and rear seat belts.

The Mini has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, solid floors and subframes. The paintwork is also very well presented, this is a very good looking Mini that gets all of the attention wherever I have taken it with its awesome looks and sound.

The Mini has been fully checked, serviced, tuned and driven and has a full MOT so is ready to make its lucky new owner smile as much as it has me.

SOLD 1990 Rover Mini Cooper RSP. 1275cc

We are very pleased to offer a very special piece of Mini Cooper history, not only is this awesome Mini a very rare RSP Limited edition, it is also just one of around 50 examples that were converted to Cooper "S" specification by John Cooper Garages making this Cooper very rare and also amazing to drive. It has only covered 50k in 36 years with just three previous owners. It is accompanied with a highly detailed history folder which dates back to 1990 and includes the original bill of sale. Registered new by Caffyns of Eastbourne. Included is the all important conversion documents detailing the upgrades with invoices and the conversion certificate. This Cooper is number
0038-S.

RSP was a special department inside Rover and it stood for Rover Special Products. Only 1600 RSP Minis were produced as a pre production Mini Cooper to test the market to see if the appetite for a Mini Cooper was still there, it was and these special Minis sold out instantly which paved the way for the Cooper relaunch. 1050 stayed in the UK in three colours and very few remain in this condition. They have many unique details that were only ever fitted to the RSP such as the Tudor sunroof, Minilite wheels with a unique stud pattern, half leather seats with a Cooper emblem, colour coded wheel arches and mirrors and unique spotlights. They have always been a very coveted edition as they are true carb Cooper with bags of power. This a correct matching numbers example with all of its original features.

In 1990 as a brand new Mini it was converted to "S" spec by Cooper Garages, briefly this comprised of increasing power and torque and continuing with the Cooper ethos of extracting more power. The Cooper S pack included a fully worked through cylinder head, gas flowed with bigger valves and springs, twin SU carbs, an uprated exhaust system, 3.44 final drive for higher top speed, adjustable suspension and wider profile tyres. The end results were the Mini that Rover should have produced, nearly 80 BHP and much quicker to 60 MPH but more than that it gives the Mini excellent power flexibility and the ability to really enjoy the handling.

On the road this Cooper is an excellent experience. Make no mistake this is a drivers car it just gives you that feel as soon as its out on the open road. The low mileage 1275 engine is very smooth with free revving power throughout the rev range, it happily accelerates from any speed and any gear and has that wonderful twin carb soundtrack. The gearbox is taught and precise and the handling is fantastic. I have always been a big fan of RSP Coopers but this one takes it to another level of driving experience and grin factor.

The interior is very well presented and illustrates this Mini cared for life. It was fitted with very supportive leather Corbeau GTS reclining seats when it was brand new at a cost of £700 and it was also treated to that beautiful John Cooper steering wheel at the same time. It has its original carpets, door cards and roof liner. This model also has rear seat belts and benefits from an upgraded Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth.

This RSP has a very well preserved shell and has all of its original panels, body coloured floor pans and inner arches, the correct vented sills and recent rear subframe. The engine bay is also nicely detailed with of all of its correct features. The paintwork is gleaming and belies its vintage. This Cooper could easily sit proudly on display at any show, but is much happier being driven. What it does do is give you access to a very exclusive Mini club offering excellent provenance and being super rare.

We are very pleased to offer a real time warp survivor and a Mini that offers a very charming driving experience. Its our 1975 Morris Mini 850 Mk3 finished in period Cornflower blue with contrasting trim. In its 51 years it has covered only 65k with just five previous owners. It has been known to us for nearly ten years and has ben cared for very well. Genuine Mk3 Minis like this are seldom seen on the road especially in full matching numbers form and with there original pressed steel number plates. This example has all of its original tags including the commission number, FE number and body number. Seventies Mini have huge amounts of charm and in preserved condition are fantastic fun to own, easy to drive and with useful evolution over its predecessors.

For many years the 850 engine was dismissed in the pursuit of power but in my opinion many people have missed the point here, the 850 engine is a cracking unit and is more than adequate for the Minis size and weight, its free revving and performs much better than peoples expectations. They are quite happy being pushed and will easily keep up with modern traffic and have plenty of flexibility to test the Minis excellent handling capabilities. The experience is enhanced with the original steering wheel and the all important ten inch wheels. Who ever gets behind the wheel of this Mini will just smile.

On the road this Mini is great fun to drive, It has a responsive low mileage engine and a smooth gearbox, we have just fully worked through the brakes, suspension and steering so it does everything very well indeed. It also has a very sexy set of Cooper S wheels with matching Falken tyres and electronic ignition.

The interior is wonderfully preserved, it has its original seats with a period lambs wool seat cover on the drivers seat which does have a split but its a period accessory and it has been like this for many years and I think it suits it. The single centre clock binnacle is also present and correct along with push button screen wash. The seats, door cards, roof liner and even the door seals are original. We have just treated it to a brand new carpet set. It has the added bonus of a Alpine Bluetooth CD/USB with under seat speakers so if you want the option to play very loud music its there.

This Mini has a solid shell with its original wings and front panel. Its a full matching numbers shell. It was Ziebart wax injected from new that has served it well. We have just lavished much time and love on it as we felt it was well deserved whilst at the same time future proofing for many years ahead. We have replaced both the outer sills with the correct Heritage vented ones. The floor pans are body coloured and it has solid subframes. The paintwork is well presented, not perfect, this is an unrestored example that has been maintained and preserved offering lots of period charm and character and is also ready to be used and enjoyed.

This Mini is fully serviced, checked, driven and tuned and has an enviable list of new parts. It has a full no advisory MOT and is MOT and Tax exempt.
