Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic
Location: Needham Market, Suffolk
Job Description:
• General Responsibilities:
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnosing vehicle issues using diagnostic tools.
• Carrying out repairs and replacements of vehicle parts.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Communicating with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Specific Skills/Experience:
• Essential:
• Proven experience as a qualified vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Driving Licence
• Desirable:
• Experience with specific vehicle brands (e.g., Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen).
• Specific experience with hybrid or electric vehicles.
• MOT testing qualification. Not necessary
• Experience with welding or fabrication
