Electric Vehicle Servicing & Diagnostics

With both Ian and James both fully qualified EV Technicians we can not only provide our excellent diagnostic and mechanical work on all makes and models, along with our specialist DPF assessments, we can now meet all the servicing and diagnostic needs for your Hybrid or electric vehicle.

This Honda Insight hybrid came in with a charging fault for the low voltage system which also impacted the high voltage battery charging. The fault was quickly identified and repaired using genuine parts sourced from the main dealer providing a quality repair in a timely fashion for our customer.

This Ford Focus came in with an charge warning light on and start/stop no longer working. The customer was expecting a large parts bill for a new alternator. However, after a thorough diagnostic investigation we pin pointed a damaged wire in the wiring loom and repaired the vehicle with no parts required.

After a quick road test to confirm everything was working as it should the car was returned to the customer the same day.

Neath community are doing great things together! Well done to everyone involved!!

We want to send out a huge thanks to one of our fantastic customers, Aline Brady Valleron for telling us about this amazing community project. It seems that Aline has been one of the hard working volunteers getting Neath Boys and Girls Club renovated and reinstated as a really valuable resource for kids and families, here in Neath. All of us here at Clive Sinclair Motors are happy to get the chance to be involved in any small way. It’s thanks to the support of customers like Aline that we’ve been able to keep our doors open for over 20 years now! So, like many other local businesses and lovely people- we were really glad to be able to send in a donation.
It’s so heart-warming to hear how fundraising reached the amount needed for the first hurdle to get the Club building insured, in just 4 days! And just yesterday they reached their all or nothing target on crowdfunder!!! These guys still have so much more work needed to get the Club renovated and open, so if you want to be involved be sure to get in touch with them or pledge a donation on their crowdfunder page.

The Mercedes was dropped in for a post purchase inspection. Well worth doing whilst the vehicle is still in warranty where faults may be present but not noticeable until the warranty period is up. This car gets a clean bill of health and looks absolutely gorgeous in the sun.

Another day, another VW transporter. This is in for a full service using one OE quality filters and will benefit from a engine flush to ensure the continued reliability of this great engine.

Another 12 months happy motoring ahead for this valued customer.

No matter what brand of vehicle we service we always use OE quality filters and advise an oil flush as this ensures we are not putting clean oil into a dirty engine.

This stunning VW transporter camper initially came in for a timing belt and Water pump, and the owner was so pleased with our professional service they brought it back for a full service ready for the Sun.

With more and more people enjoying staycation's and camping being more popular than ever we have seen a noticeable increase in the amount of transporters coming through our doors.

A service before the holiday season begins can give peace of mind and help prevent unexpected breakdowns during your valuable time away.

A returning customer brought his gorgeous Jaguar XK in for its yearly service.

Even though it's not done many miles over the last 12 months it's always worth having it serviced as we only ever replace what's needed. Low milage cars can suffer from seized brakes, rubber components perishing which can lead to premature wear that is easily prevented.

This Jaguar is now ready to hit the roads again and put a smile on the owners face with the fantastic V8 soundtrack.

The owner of this VW transporter van relies on his vehicle for work, so when they had a DPF warning light they brought it straight to us knowing we would get them back on the road in a timely fashion.

Using our extensive knowledge we were able to rectify the fault causing the DPF to block, clean the DPF on the vehicle and have it back to the customer. Fixing the fault first time means this van is off the road for the minimum amount of time which is very important for such a key tool to their business.
