Flood Warning – Please Don’t Drive Through Deep Water

With the heavy rain and flooding around Neath today, we want to remind everyone not to drive through deep or fast-moving water.

Even shallow floodwater can:
• Damage engines and exhaust systems
• Cause tyre failure or loss of braking
• Lead to costly repairs or complete breakdowns

If you can’t clearly see the road underneath, don’t risk it. Water can be deeper than it looks and vehicles can quickly lose control.

Your safety comes first. If travel isn’t essential, please delay your journey until conditions improve.
