We haven’t posted in a while so thought we’d share a job we’ve recently just finished off.

Cambelts are a service item and are usually required to be changed at 75k and then every 50,000 miles depending on the vehicle and age.

Despite this, the 1.0l ecoboost use a wet belt system which are renowned for teeth stripping due to the belt being soaked by oil and perishing, these are recommended every 60,000 miles

An extensive labour job with it being 9 hours but with a fresh cambelt, oil pump belt, engine oil, filter and coolant change, this one is back on the road
