For those who stayed with us at our B&B “Nairn Classics” an update … we sold the house three yrs ago along with the classic cars (apart from the Healey project)and as we probably told you our plans we bought a big boat and are now sailing UK waters . It’s our second season and we’re just releasing our first video of the new season . Well exciting news ... as part of our long term plan of “sailing off into the sunset”, our house is now under offer and we should be leaving end of August to a smaller house and a larger yacht. So if you want to stay with us ashore, this summer is your last chance as the B&B will then be closing. Of course we may be needing some crew aboard once we get established on the high seas so who knows. All our glorious classic cars are now up for sale so if your interested let us know .

The other project underway is the constructions of a giant “shopping trolley” to support the Healey body tub while off the rotisserie and when we take it south to be dipped . After that is will be available to hire for those REALLY big shopping trips 😏 lol

The Healey “lump” is retrieved from its resting place and brought out for a scrub down before stripping and re-build. I wonder what that will reveal ?

Been a bit quiet so I’ve been making progress on several “projects” one is the restoration of our heavy duty car trailer which was needling some TLC. So it’s now got new axle and cross beams, and we are cleaning and rust proofing the underside. Used the engine hoist to turn it on it’s side for access .
