🚗 LITTLE UPDATE REGARDING LESSONS 🚗

I just wanted to let everyone know that, unfortunately, I can't take on any new pupils at the moment.

Due to my driving tests in June being cancelled, and then my July tests also being cancelled and moved to August, I have a number of pupils who should already have passed but are still waiting for their test dates.

This is completely outwith my control, but it has created a significant backlog that I need to work through before I can offer spaces to new learners.

If you've already messaged me and I've replied to say that I will get you in, please don't worry—I absolutely will. I just can't give a timescale at the moment, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding while I work through the waiting list.

The test backlog is extremely high right now, and with it being the summer holidays as well as juggling family life with my own child, I'm doing my best to maintain a healthy work-life balance while giving my current pupils the time and support they need.

Thank you so much to everyone for your continued patience, understanding and support—it really does mean a lot. I'll update you as soon as I have availability again. 💚

Remember learning to drive is sometimes a marathon and not always a sprint!

You can pass your test fast, but can you read the road, Predict what other drivers will do, and stay in control?

A test gets you your licence.
Skill keeps you safe 😊

The Milne Family are officially on holiday 😊

We are flying out to South Africa 🇿🇦 tomorrow for my step daughters wedding and 2 weeks of family time 🧡

I have all my test nerves tools at the ready (your girl is NOT a relaxed traveller) 😬🤭

I teach people to drive so flying should be a breeze?! Looking forward to jumping right into that pool with the first alcoholic drink I can get my hands on 🤣

Good luck to my pupils who have tests while I'm away, you got this. So do I, I can do this, I can do thiiiiiis 👌

Sent to me,from a pupil this morning 🧡

People often think driving instructors are only teachers.

But here’s the truth: learners teach us too.

💡 Learners teach patience reminding us that progress comes in small steps, not leaps.
💡 Learners teach resilience every stall, every wrong turn, every test fail… and the courage to try again.
💡 Learners teach humour because sometimes all you can do is laugh at kangaroo jumps or putting the wipers on instead of the indicators.
💡 Learners teach empathy every nervous driver, every anxious smile, every “I can’t do this”… reminding us what it feels like to be vulnerable.
💡 Learners teach trust because sitting in the passenger seat means putting faith in someone who’s still learning.

Yes, we teach the Highway Code, clutch control, and safe driving habits.
But learners teach us humanity, day in and day out.

That’s why this job isn’t just about cars or tests.
It’s about people. ❤️

Well done Sarah Evans!! On passing today in Inverness on your 1st attempt, it's been amazing watching your confidence grow.

I am super proud of all you have achieved not just in your driving but in all aspects you have shared with me on this journey 🙏Sometimes learning to drive is a marathon and not a sprint but you bloody did it girl and what fun it's been!!
