Another custom upgrade added to this beautiful build 🙌

Our customers plan on homeschooling their children while travelling in their campervan, so a larger table was high on their wish list.

Working closely with our design and workshop team, we created a bespoke bamboo table with plenty of surface space for schoolwork, mealtimes and everything in between.

The clever part? 👀 A rotating section pulls out when needed, extending the table across to the swivelled passenger seat and creating even more usable space.

As you can imagine, a table this size made from solid bamboo has a bit of weight to it! We redesigned the table leg to give it the support it needed and, because the van has a tailgate, created a storage position on the rear door for when it’s not in use. We also upgraded the tailgate gas struts to handle the additional weight.

A great example of how the little details of a conversion can be tailored around exactly how you plan to use your campervan 👌

Another great T7 conversion 🙌🏽

Our customer was working to a budget with this build, so during the design meetings we went through everything included in the conversion and looked at what was important for the way she plans to use her campervan, what she could save money on, and what could easily be added later.

Here are a few of the choices she made 👇

🔥 No gas
Preferring to cook outside or eat out when travelling, our customer decided she didn’t need a gas hob and opted for a sink and water system instead. As an added bonus, this frees up the gas locker area for extra storage.

☀️ Solar panel wiring only
A solar panel is a great addition, but it’s also something that can easily be added later. If it’s not in the budget at the time of the build, we can install the wiring while fitting the pop-top roof at no extra cost. This makes adding a solar panel further down the line much easier and avoids additional labour.

💡 Standard roof bed panel
Our acoustic roof panels look great, but they aren’t essential. A standard grey or carpeted roof bed panel does the same job at a lower cost, with spotlights down the sides instead of the integrated strip lighting.

🔌 Extra sockets in the pillar
A small special request that made sense to include during the build. Adding extra sockets while the conversion is underway costs very little compared with retrofitting them later and paying for the additional labour.

💺 Keeping the original front seats
Being a newer van, the front seats were already in great condition, so our customer chose to keep the original upholstery for now. This is another upgrade that can easily be done later without affecting the rest of the conversion.

A campervan conversion doesn’t have to include every available extra from day one. We’ll help you decide where it’s worth spending your budget now and which upgrades can wait until later.

The result? A campervan designed around how our customer will actually use it, while keeping the build within budget 🙌🏽

Final photos of our latest VW T7 campervan conversion 💙

Our customer chose to pair Denim Blue furniture with warm bamboo worktops, matching Vanshades and Smoke carpet lining to keep the interior feeling light and spacious.

On the outside, the original white van has been transformed with a half respray in classic VW Dove Blue, tying the exterior perfectly into the shades of blue inside.

A modern T7 with a little nod to classic VW styling 👌

What do you think of this colour combination?

Handover day! 🙌 Mondays never looked so good… even with the rain incoming! ☔️

Here’s a little sneak peek at this brand-new T7 conversion we handed over to its new owners today.

Featuring our popular Denim Blue furniture, bamboo worktop and tan leather upholstery, finished off with a half respray that completely transforms the original white panel van into a one of a kind campervan.

Does the colour look familiar? 👀

The paintwork was inspired by our very own hire campervan, ‘Loki! 💙

Our attempt at photographing the eclipse yesterday 🌙✨

Dave and I had a rare child-free evening and happened to be in York city centre during the eclipse. We took this photo outside York Art Gallery and there’s definitely something a little magical about it!

The atmosphere in York was amazing, with everyone taking to the streets to stop and watch. And if you look closely, you might even spot the little 🐦 making an appearance!

We can’t stop thinking about how incredible this would have been to watch while camping, somewhere with a completely dark sky. ⛺️🌙

Did anyone manage to catch it from their campervan or campsite? We’d love to see your photos in the comments 👀

5 add-ons we think are worth the extra money.

Our conversion packages include everything you need to get you going on your first trip but add-ons can help tailor your van to your specific needs.

Here are some of our personal and customer favourites that we think are worth the extra money if your budget allows:

1. Wind-out awning

A quick and easy way to create extra shelter outside your van. Perfect for shade or light rain, with optional side panels for added protection. Just remember your storm straps if leaving it unattended.

2. Solar panel

Solar helps keep your leisure battery topped up when you’re away from hook-up, making it ideal for wild camping. In good weather, we’ve comfortably managed 3–4 days off-grid.

3. Lithium battery

Lithium batteries offer faster charging, a longer lifespan, more usable power and virtually no maintenance. We think they’ll soon become the go-to choice over traditional lead-acid batteries.

4. Diesel heater

A great addition if you want to use your camper all year round. Thermostatically controlled, a diesel heater keeps the van warm and cosy on colder days and nights.

5. All-round privacy glass

Our packages come with x2 side windows but adding rear side and tailgate or barn-door windows brings more natural light into the living area and gives passengers in the back a much better view while travelling.

What would be your non negotiable add-ons?
