Big news for Dangerous Goods Driver Training! 🎉

We’re proud to announce that Open Road Training is now approved to deliver training for two specialist ADR classes:

✅ Class 1 – Explosives
✅ Class 7 – Radioactive

We’re one of just a few centres in the UK approved to deliver these classes. A fantastic milestone for our team, and great news for drivers and businesses looking for specialist ADR training.

Ask any ADI what worries them about a Standards Check, or any PDI what worries them about Part 3, and you’ll hear the same thing.

That’s what this day sorts out.

We cover Client Centred Learning properly. How to agree goals that actually mean something to the learner. How to share risk so they take some ownership of it. When to change the plan, and how to give feedback that helps your learner learn instead of just telling them what they did wrong. We look at it the same way the examiner does, across the competencies, so you know what a good lesson looks like and why.

It’s a full day in a room with other instructors who want to get better. Lots of discussion, real examples, and plenty of time to ask the questions you’ve been sitting on.

Nobody books "update the O-licence records" into the diary. It's the thirty minutes that never gets scheduled - and the cheapest compliance habit you'll ever keep.

Tidy records. CPC renewals tracked. DVSA paperwork in plain English. None of it glamorous, all of it what keeps a fleet on the road.

We're not just trainers, we're industry professionals. Better to teach the boring habit than sell the rescue.
