This is what proper prep looks like before correction starts.

Porsche Targa 4S under a thick blanket of pH-neutral snow foam — it dwells on the panels, lifting loose contamination and road grime before you touch the paint with anything. You never want to be the first thing touching a dirty car. The foam goes on, dwells, rinses, then the proper decontamination begins.

The decontamination stage is where the real work starts — and most detailers skip it properly.

BMW M5 and Porsche Targa 4S both in at the same time, both going through a full decontamination before correction begins. Iron fallout remover reacts with and dissolves embedded ferrous particles — the orange/purple bleed you see is iron literally coming out of the paint. Clay bar then goes over every panel to physically remove what the chemicals couldn't. Without this step, you're polishing over contamination, not removing it.

Both cars going into correction and ceramic coating after this stage is complete.

A car this rare doesn't get driven hard and parked without protection underneath. The Nismo's underside was cleaned, degreased, and fully treated — every chassis section, sill, and arch coated against road salt, moisture, and grit ingress.

The process takes a full day to do properly. Clean, dry, prime sections where needed, coat thoroughly, and let it cure. Rushing it defeats the purpose.

This car will be on the road for decades. The underbody protection we've applied today is the reason.

BMW M240i convertible — soft top deep clean and re-proofing done.

Five shots of the end result across the bodywork, roof, and wheels. Stage 1 cut back the swirling across all panels before a 3-year warranted ceramic coating was applied inside and out of each panel gap. This is the standard of finish that doesn't rely on a good camera angle — it holds up in every light.

The ceramic now handles UV protection, water beading, contamination resistance, and gloss retention. Maintained correctly, this car will look like this for years.

Stage 1 + 5-Year Ceramic on this BMW M340i — here's a look at the unit while it was in.

The M340i got a full machine polish across all panels before a 5-year fully warranted ceramic coating was applied. Five years of protection from a single treatment — UV, water spots, brake dust, bird lime, all repelled.
