Finally clean again. Think it's been nearly 4 weeks since it's last wash and it was mingling. Happy Friday now it's clean ready for next week.

Finished the week off yesterday with the good, the bad and the ugly and doing over 400 miles with a trip from Liverpool to Blackburn to Manchester to Grange over sands to south of Wrexham back to Fleetwood before eventually going home knackered. The 1934 Austin 7 was an absolute beauty and a pleasure to move.

2 collections and two deliveries yesterday before making my way into Norwich for this little project.
Loaded first thing this morning then a nice steady drive back up to Lancashire.

Started the week off yesterday after a fantastic week holiday buy getting the truck back together. Headed over to Mattewsons auction house in pickering to collect a tidy (ish) Fiesta xr2 for back to Carnforth.

Thanks to Lee L&A car care for topping up the diff oil on the truck yesterday. Why is nothing ever simple with a Vw Amarok? Rear diff nearly empty. Got over a litre and a half in before full. Front is a nightmare to fill, so that will be done another day. New bearing needed and should be fitted while I'm away.

So that is finally it. Worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday last week then started again. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday this week. Seems like it's been a long few days making about 12 deliveries in the last week. I was trying to work in holiday mode and forgot to take pics. Tonight the trailer is securely parked up. Keys put down for the last time. Now it's time to finally recharge the batteries with a long overdue break. 10 days of doing very little. I'm still taking enquiries and will reply but there may be a short delay in replying.

Bit of a busy old week when I was trying to wind it down ready for next week. 4 more days to work then it's time to hang the keys up for a week and a bit and recharge my batteries. Missed out on taking a few pics of jobs. To much rushing about. Only 5 jobs booked in between now and Tuesday, and not booked anything for Tuesday yet. Roll on Wednesday.

Got myself up to Stirling nice and early to deliver the series ii land rover.
Back down home early so checked in with tomorrow s customer to see what time I could load in the morning. Take it now he said, so loaded ready for another decent start
Get rid of this knackered van then I'm off to collect an old Citroën HY van to head back up to Carnforth.
