Thursday night. Two deliveries completed and thinking it's time to enjoy the weekend. Phone rings and customer asks for his Jaguar to be recovering from Ulverston back to Galgate now it been confirmed the engine is knackered after I took it up there 2 weeks ago, who am I to refuse a nice easy job before taking the trailer down to Leyland ready for a service next week. Now I can enjoy the weekend with my good lady.

Ended the day with loading the big beast down in Slough heading to Yorkshire in the morning.

Nice easy first move to get the Fiat to Heysham for the I of M ferry.
Then a more challenging job of getting a Tesla with completely dead batteries on the trailer, couldn't open the door to turn the steering wheel. It's on its safe and it's gone. Thanks to Lee at L&A car care for calling by to offer help.

It's been a s**t show of a day with traffic and motorways blocked or closed. A couple of jobs that should of take 3 and a half hours tops ended up being nearly 7 hours.
Lucky with getting to have a drive in the corvette made the day a little more pleasurable. Tomorrow is another day, let's hope it's better.

Quick and easy change at Glen Dimplex in Burnley then it's down to Diageo in Runcorn loading for Ireland. The early start would of been great if the di****ad night driver didn't take the keys into his
caravan with him. Not good when I'm meant to be back by lunch so he can have his wagon back.
