Big job for Sam last week, BMW X3 in for a new timing chain and we also found that the turbo had seen better days so replaced that at the same time to save the customer more expense at a later date, gearbox out, engine out then easier to work and set the timing up correctly. Another happy customer 😁🚙

Jack is carrying out various assessments on this BMW today one issue being the air con isn’t working, he’s found that the system is low on pressure so the next step is to get some nitrogen into it and try to locate the leak ❄️ if your vehicle has air con problems we have trained technicians using the right equipment to get to the bottom of faults 🚙

Here’s young Adam our apprentice who’s recently completed his second year of college, he’s doing a great job learning more everyday, he’ll be starting his 3rd year in September to complete level 3 and become a qualified mechanic! 💪🚙 keep up the good work!

We recently did another ‘wet’ timing/cam belt on this Peugeot 5008 1.2 the recommended interval to change these is 64k miles or 6 years but this vehicle has only 45k miles and is 3 years old! So a bit premature, the vehicle was bought second hand so it’s possible it’s had the incorrect oil spec in at some point. Luckily it was caught in time before any catastrophic failure!
As you can see from the photo there’s some severe cracking in the belt, Andrew out technician also carried out a full service and replaced some tyres also 🚙 another happy customer 😁
