THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVICING

We have had this little corsa in today due to the engine cranking but not starting
After some diagnosing we figured that the timing chain had jumped causing the engine no longer to be in time, And we was definitely correct with our diagnosis.

As you can see from the pictures the timing didn’t just jump it also broke the plastic guides in half and the timing chain had been running against the bolt for the guide causing it to grind down.

With every timing chain we do we always give the car a small service due to the timing chain being lubricated by oil we don’t want to be using old engine oil, and as you can see from the last picture you can see why, That is meant to be a oil filter 🙈 the oil filter had completely collapsed and blocked.

This customer is extremely lucky that the was no further damage to being how bad it was, luckily with a new timing chain and the engine back in time she drives absolutely perfect and as smooth as when it left the factory

The truck drives absolutely beautiful with no knock or bangs what’s so ever, gearbox is absolutely faultless and changes gearbox extremely smoothly

We recently had this Mercedes a-class in for some work

The customer called us and said his just brought it as project and wants it road worthy so it will pass it’s mot, The first thing we done was it put straight through it’s mot to see how it got on,

One of the alloys had a massive crack in due to a previous accident, The customer brought some wheels from Facebook market place and we changed them for him

New bonnet airbag actuators

New passenger seat mat

And she’s back on the road with 12 months mot, the customer picked it up late last night from us and said his going straight to Peak District for a road trip, one happy customer
