Round One of SuperChamps Season Two at Daytona Sandown Park saw dominant victories, recovery drives and final-lap drama.

Tom Reed completed a clean sweep in the SODI Lightweights, winning both races from start to finish. Sarah Telford took two second-place finishes, while Harry Banks recovered from 10th to secure third in the Feature on the final lap. In the Heavyweights, Tobias Robinson won both races ahead of Dylan Firth and Kireth Kalirai, finishing the Feature a full lap clear.

James Callan took both DMAX Lightweight victories, although Jack Redfern pushed him throughout the Feature and led into the final lap before Callan reclaimed the position. Mikhail Sitnikov completed the podium in both races. Warren Gomm swept the DMAX Heavyweights, winning both races ahead of Charlie Foster. Returning after 14 months away from karting, Foster drove excellently to finish second in Practice, the Shootout and the Feature. Malachy Prakash completed both race podiums, holding off Fabio Souza by just 0.496 seconds in the Feature.

On Monday, our Jamie Chadwick Series competitors had the incredible opportunity to visit Sky Studios.

The day included a surprise appearance from Jamie, who joined Sky’s Yasmin Ahmed for a special Q&A on working in motorsport media. They also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sky Sports studios before learning how a production studio operates and creating their very own news broadcast with Sky Up.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible!

Round One of SuperChamps at Daytona Tamworth saw drivers tackle torrential conditions on the Grand Prix format.

In the N35 Heavies, James Stevenson won both races overall to secure his first SuperChamps grand slam. Jayden Baker took both Lightweight victories ahead of Noah Fortune, with Elli Henneman completing the podium in the Final.

DMAX debutant Theo Laverty won the Lightweight Shootout by just 0.036 seconds ahead of Joseph Smith. Jake Garret took victory in the Final, followed by Leonidas Platanopoulous, who also secured fastest lap. Laverty held on to third despite a final-corner collision with Reuben Potter. Meanwhile, Keelan Arnold completed a clean sweep in the DMAX Heavyweights, winning both races ahead of Kieran Glover.

THE RACE OF THE YEAR IS BACK FOR 2023!

The Daytona 24 Hour Race sells out every year, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We are delighted to announce that the Daytona 24 Hour Race will take place over the weekend of the 27th - 28th May 2023 with 45 teams taking to the Milton Keynes circuit for 24 hours of action packed racing!

You can secure your place in the race of the year with just a £100.00 deposit.

Format: 24 Hour Team Endurance Race
Practice: 100 minutes
Qualifying: 10-minutes (per class)
Teams: 3-12 Drivers per team

We are pleased to announce that we have upgraded all our DMAX Karts at Daytona Milton Keynes to utilise the Kelgate GTK Brake System with a 22mm Vented Disc. The Kelgate GTK brake system gives a better level of feel to the brake pedal and eliminates fading due to overheating.

We are continually striving to innovate, advance and develop the racing experience we offer to customers visiting our circuits and this latest development is testament to this. Kelgate brakes are very popular and the GTK brake has been used on countless championship winning karts.
