Harley Davison v-rod came in yesterday for a few things. Customer brought some uprated springs for the forks so we did a full fork rebuild (pair), strip and cleaned the front and rear brakes fitted new pads and cleaned, regressed the location pin witch most people forget to do. Also done a service and mot all ready for him to collect today for his road trip this afternoon 😀

This poor r1 came in to us or a new stator that another previous garage in the area was ment to have done with other jobs.
As you can see the stator the was installed has failed (probably due to cheap parts used and badly installed and Bolts that had been glued back together)
Yeah bolts snap and get damaged from time to time and sometimes it cant be helped but never glue them and think that will be fine. Sorry about the little rant.
Main thing is we sorted it out We have replaced with a genuine part and replaced bolts that was needed

Hi everyone PLEASE TAKE 2 MINUTESTO READ.
I would just like to see how much interest there will be on a possible idea I have got. We have noticed that a few customers have been wanting servicing,tyres or repairs doing but due to financial circumstances being tight ect they are skipping or penny pinching just so they can keep there bikes on the road. So over the past few weeks I have been looking at spread the schemes/finance schemes. I have found a few that will help out with this and will allow you (the customer) to pay over 2,3,6 months t&c apply. So my question is if i was to offer this would there be much interest in it please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.
